What am I ungrateful about. Must be missing something. Just realised that Hans Kray is a moderator - strange that he came across with such an aggressive response to my first post.
You are right - people should look ahead and prepare accordingly as we all know that one day the final weeks/months salary will land in your bank account. However I would say that you have done well to be earning 48k a year. Would take me and many others over two years to earn that. The problem...
Wow bit strong that. I'm just more interested in the the present and future players who will carry us forward. What do I have to be grateful to Calderon for?
Think I'm right in saying that from the early 2000's it has been illegal to sell creosote to the general public and it is illegal for general public to use it. It's ok for professionals to use creosote based products but I think it may only be sold under license.
I feel a bit concerned with a theme that runs through this and other threads where people say that they don't mind if we get relegated. It's not a given that we will do a Burnley and hop back up the following season but there seems to be a tone of that's how it works. It's taken us 34 years to...
Wimp - end of. Had and still has an over inflated status from some fans because of the opening game at The Amex. Will cry off at the drop of a hat if he doesn't fancy it on the day.
I just the opener isn't turned into a party i.e. Flags on seats, opera singers etc etc,it will just be a massive distraction and then we'll end up with egg on our face as the sixth City goal goes in. Focus the whole club on getting something from the game and the fans will look after the atmosphere.
Totally bizarre. Wouldn't be surprised if Harry ****s it up there anyway - he's past it. Can't believe that he was told he wouldn't be No1 as surely it's up to the players playing in that position to compete for the jersey.
Action needs to be stronger than words. Will it be action or is it all talk - saying what people want to hear. Do they know what to do or how to actually stop this happening or are the politicians trotting out soundbites. Time will tell.
What are the rules on loan players? Had a quick look at the rules for last season and it seemed to indicate that EFL teams can only name 5 in a match day squad but there was no limit for the amount a PL team could name. Obviously Huddersfield's problem will be purchasing or loaning the same...
Interesting that Huddersfield, Reading and Fulham all appointed young foreign coaches in the summer and all had excellent seasons finishing in the play offs. Maybe there is something in casting your net wide rather than just going down the list of usual suspects.
