Have to say, dipped into this and of course it's early days but
no waffly intros' very interesting listen to the manager take the lead rather than Barbs, not a waste of time even if the answers are quite guarded
We scoffed at PL ready and top 10 but got there in the end, albeit with this current blip. So even if it is surrounded in the usual PR / corporate guff it is worth hearing the target.
I'm most interested in how the hell the women's team are going to be top 4 but i suspect that isn't priority...
Fair play, they are going ahead with it so presumably both are armed with a serious dose of positivity they can inject to the fanbase. Maybe it won't be pointless after all..
Looking forward to the write ups, particularly the WAB one
It also ignored the way we very much did adapt to two very difficult fixtures in Athens away and Marseille at home. Were those performances straight out of the De Zerbi manual? Absolutely lot. We were a lot more defensive.
Well this is exactly the point isn't it. There isn't realistically anything of note that they can say in public, which is why it's pretty much a waste of time.
It becomes an annual event run by an extremely competent speaker who tells us how he's running things, and reiterates what he's told...
While I was initially excited by this, i think in reality, If it goes ahead, the forum is a complete waste of everyone's time. Barber will have well rehearsed answers on our bad form, FFP, recruitment/plans for the summer, injuries, he'll trot out the same lines about long term vision, bumps in...
Verbruggen 5 kicking crap, handling wobbly
Igor 5 error prone
Dunk 5 seemed to give up after the first goal
Offiah 6 ok defensively but final ball lacking
Barco 6 some bright moments going forward, suspect he's a wing back or winger really.
Gilmour 7 good first half, faded a bit second as we got...
Btw, why does nobody ever question the captain when the team looks like it can't be arsed.
How many seasons has Dunk been here when we've been on the beach - or worse, the piss - at the end of the season.
Second half today he was as guilty as the rest of them, but will escape criticism...
Listened to the interview, don't get the outcry on here. He's said he and the team need to do better and be motivated to finish the season well for us, the fans.
Today they looked 'on the beach' and were a disgrace.
The injuries are very relevant to us putting out a side that would struggle in the Championship.
Not relevant to us lacking fight, leadership and desire though. Unacceptable downing of tools.
