I seem to remember that the initial 90 odd million for the stadium was an interest free loan to the club to be paid back over 15 years, would that mean that the club is 6 years through paying that back?
I must say that I miss the old days of North Stand Chat when everyone wasnt quite so happy clappy with the club, where are the moaners gone, all barred I suspect. I even miss Pretty Pink Fairy
Ooh good point, but as I have said I personally would be fine as I have been going since withdean and go away so have enough points myself, I just believe that its unethical to sell something and then withdraw, where is our option to be bought back out if we dont like the new terms
I do agree with this, I think it is part of a strategy to get rid of the fan section of 1901. Fine if we stay in the prem but if we go back to the Championship 1901 will be a wasteland at the end of the 5 year contracts.
About 14, but that is not the point because I have contracted for 5 years instead of year by year which I would much prefer to try to ensure that I get to some away games
Maybe because I moved up to 1901 at the 5 year mark and I was told free coffee and teas and enhanced points for the away games was part of the deal. If I leased a car for 5 years in an unbreakable contract and was told that the deal included GPS and a radio id be pretty shocked if it turned up...
No you cant cancel, and there is nowhere to go to anyway. As the extras are removed it doesnt feel worth the price really. The people are great but just the same as elsewhere in the stadium, contrary to popular belief, a lot of 1901 are just normal people paying a bit extra for a variety of reasons
I will start,
The seats are no better view than the East Upper, the customer service is terrible, rube and unhelpful much worse than the normal ticket line The club change the terms as and when they feel like it, who knows whats next to go. You are tied in for 5 years whatever happens and you...
We went Sunday and wished we had gone for the whole weekend, it was so good. My favorite bit I think aside from Gregory Porter or Hot 8 was a mass outbreak of The Shuffle to George Bensons 'On Broadway'
I myself have had to sit out a couple of home games this season so I could afford to go to the away games.
If regular season ticket holders approached Paul Barber and suggested 5 year contracts in exchange for extra points im sure he would consider it
I think the point that many are missing is the 5 year commitment that you make that cant be cancelled irrespective of what league we are in. Looking good now but how do you think it looked when Hypia was in charge, looking down the barrel of League one. Many people in the 1901 are not rich just...
