Next Tuesday, 21st May
Gareth Southgate was sitting a couple of rows behind me on Saturday at St. James Park.
Apart from Dunk and Anthony Gordon, who else could he have been watching?
Surely there are too many decent alternatives in front of Gordon for him to be in the squad?
If he went to...
IMO that's a really sweeping generalisation.
Not all pensioners have final salary pensions.
Anyway, all of us (hopefully) will reach pensionable age and thus benefit from the concession price.
(1) Sharing scheme is proving not to work - see last Sunday's pretendance.
(2) Freezing prices since Covid - really?
We are lucky to have PBOBE and especially Bloom, but let's be honest the FAB is a box -ticking exercise, nothing more.
BTW, your reply is almost long enough to be written by...
Wow.
I didn't have you as one of the 'Housewives of Orange County'
Next you'll be saying 'Can I get' instead of 'please may I have' when asking for a coffee/pint etc...
Bloody heathen.
Well let's be honest, he hasn't exactly delivered on the new stand that was promised years ago.....with the ring fenced money (meaning he won't need to sell any players this summer to pay for it)
I'd actually like the AW to be redeveloped too, as anywhere in the back third of it means you can't...
I imagine there's no source for this statement, just the fact that the money was 'ring fenced' four years ago and nothing has happened......
I'm guessing it will finally start in the summer once you've sold one/two/three players.
Well Done Horsham.
Hastings started brightly for the first five minutes and the opening goal was probably against the run of play.
From then on, Horsham were in pretty much complete control, and the second goal (scored by ex Albion Shamir Fenelon) scored before half time sealed the tie.
A...
You're correct of course that the line ran to Horsham.
At Itchingfield Junction (Christ's Hospital) it split with the line (now Downs Link) continuing to Guildford.
Yes you can walk the whole thing.
There are bits (as previously highlighted above) at Henfield and Partridge Green where you come off the 'pathway' (i.e the old railway line) but it's not for long.
Also, there was a section at Christs Hospital where you had to go onto the road, but that...
I cycle the 'Downs Link' (the old railway line) on a regular basis - it goes all the way to Guildford.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but Beeching really did **** things up. A train direct from Shoreham to Horsham / Guildford would be fantastic....
Horsham v Hastings, Sussex Senior Cup Final tomorrow (Wednesday) at The Amex.
Should be a decent crowd.
After missing out on promotion on penalties in the Play-offs last week, can Horsham bounce back and finish the season on a high?
