[Football] Leandro Trossard **Sold To Arsenal 20/01/2023**

I can't believe all the "get rid". You can't seriously believe we are better off selling him, he is our highest goalscorer this season. I hope he sees the error of his ways, apologises and knuckles down and we see the old Leo again. We are a better side with him in our team for sure. I don't...

[Albion] Parking for Leeds on Saturday.

Thanks for posting, when I booked my ticket 2 weeks ago there was none. Taking my kids to their first game at the Amex so this parking will help!

    [Albion] Alzate

The block he did late in the 2nd half from Aub was brilliant full back play. Covered across, didn't dive in but made the block. It was textbook. He is nicely composed on the ball which is excellent for one so young. I agree with everything on here, a real find.

[Albion] Parking and getting away early

At the risk of receiving the wrath of NSC for being an early leaver I wonder if I could call on some advice. As a rare visitor to the Amex I usually do the Park and Ride but on Sunday I have to leave around halfway through the 2nd half for a variety of reasons. I have booked a car park spot in...

    [Albion] I Think I’ve Got Over It Now . . .

Whilst our caving in was not something pretty to watch, credit must be given to Fulham. They came out in that second half and going forward were such a threat. Defensively they are frail but going forward they are very dangerous. The movement in midfield and just behind Mitrovic was exceptional...

[Albion] Best photos/videos from Palace (H)

I'm not so sure it was as bad as that picture looked. Andone slid in almost underneath Zaha's feet to lift his feet on top of Andone's leg. Watched it a few times in slo-mo and I don't think it looks that bad. Happy to be proved wrong though !!

[Albion] So it turns out that Anthony Knockaert really IS better than Ozil...

Yeah I have absolutely no problem with his reaction, and I don't think CH does either. The only thing I would object to is if he damaged one of those nice seats in the dugout with his strop. When someone is Championship player of the year like he was, there should really not be any doubt...

    [Albion] Limp

I disagree with this completely. The teams that have had success against Spurs this year are the teams that have sat deep and defended well, and then countered. If we had had better quality yesterday we would have created 3-4 very good chances as a result of breaks. Teams that have tried to have...

[Albion] Player ratings v Spurs (a)

I think the overriding frustration with last night's performance was the lack of quality when we did have the ball. We were working so hard to get the ball and our shape was excellent. But when we got the ball we were too anxious to get it forward quickly. On a couple of occasions this was...

[Finance] Article with David Jones in Economia

As a slightly sad accountant myself, I now and again read this magazine. Nice to see an article about the Albion's FD. http://economia.icaew.com/en/features/december-2017/net-profit

[Cricket] Second Ashes Test Australia vs England Adelaide 2nd-6th December 2017

Before the series I predicted a 3-1 loss. Thought they would get a draw either in Brisbane or Adelaide and win either Melbourne or Sydney probably when the series was gone. That prediction looks optimistic now ! So frustrating to watch at times. But if you put man for man in each team I am not...

[Cricket] Jason Gillespie appointed Sussex head coach

Wow, that is an excellent appointment. He left Yorkshire as he wanted to be back in Australia so interesting what has happened there. Maybe he didn't get the coaching role he wanted in Australia.

England squad for Ashes tour announced...

Its quite interesting though. The Aussies historically have put out very strong sides in the warm up games to ensure the Poms have a tough time. Doesn't appear to be the case this year though. There was a real need for the Aussie test team to have 2-3 Shield games under their belt prior to the...

[Football] Random stat - Last time a team with 11 pts (or more) after 9 games was relegated

I have personally never understood how anyone criticises Dale or doesn't think he is good enough for the Prem. He does everything so simply, is always available for a pass and reads the game so well. He is the sort of player people notice more when he's not there, as we glimpsed last season. You...

    Player ratings against. dirty Leeds

Not only was Wood's movement good, he gives a little "hand-off" to Dunk's chest at the key moment which stops Dunk from getting close to him.

    Ant and Dec

Thought it was funny that when they appeared on the TV pictures they were Ant on the left, Dec on the right, like they always are on TV. They are never seen any other way (that photo here is a rare event!)

    Complacency

To say they were complacent or bottlers is nonsense. All season when we have the lead we defend well and look to break. No different tonight. The difference was a flukey goal which gave them the confidence to score a good winner. I think Tomori did OK, losing Poco was a blow but he did OK...

Alastair Cook quits as England Test captain

I kind of agree that this is 2-3 years too early for Joe but maybe the captaincy might get rid of this annoying habit he has of making batting look so easy he then gets out in the 70's playing a daft shot.

    Championship Odds Tracker

We're annoyed when Leeds shade a win against Blackburn saying they got lucky. Think how they must have felt seeing us get wins against Birmingham, Sheffield Wednesday etc. Somehow we attribute those wins to our team spirit and togetherness but we view other teams wins as lucky! Come on people...

    Overpaid by mistake

I run the payroll for my company and one employee piped up after working for us for 5 months that she hadn't been paid. In fact, she didn't raise it that she hadn't been paid, rather that everyone else was receiving a payslip and she didn't! Clearly had far to much money......
