Congratulations to Horsham YMCA. A good club full of good people from my experience.
I saw Haywards Heath at Newhaven earlier in the season and their fans were an arrogant lot. "What's it like to watch proper football?" one kept shouting to the Dockers fans in the stand.
It was very funny...
The cynic in me thinks a Friday night, end of season dead rubber against an unglamorous Everton side was almost designed to attract a shit crowd so the club can say "See, the women don't attract people so we don't play many games at the Amex"
Thought it was a good game though. Terland is a...
Is the major issue here that there was no vote? If Football League clubs had a say, scrapping replays would have been kicked to the curb.
The one thing we do know is that there are 8 members on the board who ratified the decision. One is Paul Barber.
Not the first time our club who were once...
Adrian Morris deleted his role as a Post Office Investigator from his LinkedIn several months ago, so he clearly knew this day was coming
It will be interesting to see how the club spin this
Interesting to note the Albion club employee briefly referenced earlier in this thread has removed his 'Post Office Investigations Manager' role from his LinkedIn at some point over the last two weeks
Great that the club allowed them to bring in their flags, megaphones and presumably had limited searches given the number of flares that made it into the stadium
If only they were not so draconian with home support. Something for the head of security to consider maybe, presuming he is not...
I wonder if the outcome of this vote will change the Albion's viewpoint on an independent regulator?
Probably not given the disdain they treat the independent ombudsman with whenever that body rules the club are in the wrong. But we can live in hope.
The thing I have taken from that is the club's approach to banning fans is appalling, like a kangaroo court.
Not that this is news. The independent ombudsman has said as much in previous findings... which the club then went and publicly dismissed.
No wonder Bloom and Barber are so against a...
I got the 25 on Sunday from the Pavilion at around 12.50pm. Got to my seat just as the game kicked off. Buses are great when the traffic is okay. When there is congestion as bad as Sunday, it is quicker to walk
Having taken the best part of two-and-a-half hours to get to the Amex yesterday (two buses, including an hour to get up Lewes Road) I was not going to go through that again and left early
I like watching Brighton but as others have said, it's not worth five hours travelling there and back. From...
It is pretty much standard practice in some European countries (France and Italy spring to mind) to bus away fans in completely the wrong direction, making the journey stupidly long
Hit refresh bang on 9am. The button changed from Sold Out to Buy. Selected a block, hit 'Best Available' to avoid wasting time selecting an individual seat and sailed straight through payment
The key is speed. It will be sit anywhere inside the away end anyway, so don't worry about where you...
The problem Fati has got is that he has been hyped to high heaven by fans and rather unhelpfully, by the club's social media output.
As others have said, there is a reason Barcelona have loaned him to Brighton & Hove Albion. If you have sky high expectations of him in spite of that fact, then...
I think there is a certain amount of naivety about what is waiting in some European cities
It doesn't matter if you are keeping yourself to yourself, behaving well or not looking for trouble. If certain locals clock you as being a foreign football fan, they see you as fair game. So too certain...
I have read the whole thing and you haven't missed anything as far as I can tell. Which is presumably why the IFO has told the club to revoke the ban, loyalty points and issue an apology. Which they have predictably not done because they are never wrong about anything.
And that is before you...
Unfortunately, the club can (and seemingly have) completely ignored the IFO. Shameful, but at least every fan who has criticised the ticketing policy and said the punishment was far too over the top has now been backed up by an independent observer.
Thanks for proving my point by bringing Mitoma, March and Enciso into the conversation... none of whom fulfil the number 9 role which De Zerbi's 4-2-3-1 relies so heavily on. It's comparative to grouping Lamptey with Dunk and Webster because they all play in defence.
Welbeck and Ferguson are...
De Zerbi used Trossard mainly as a centre forward, so there was room for both him and Mitoma - as we saw from the Chelsea game onwards when Mitoma made his first league start.
The point about Trossard is that by selling him, we were left with only an 18 year old who needs to have his game time...
RDZ is a fantastic manager, but he will go the same way as Gus. Two strong headed managers, not afraid to speak their mind and that will rub against Bloom and Barber
