It was the McLeish season when everyone was dreadful - Ireland had one or two good games, which was one or two more than anyone else that year.
There was also an element of the vote being a protest against McLeish as Ireland was seen as a bit of a rebel, who clearly wanted to play a different...
Barnes was the best player in some of the final games and the only one who was really switched on against Palace, stick him up front and he will play well.
Be a bit surprised if Villa went for him, they have already signed two wingers and a striker this summer and they mainly played 4-3-3 last season anyway.
Still, if they find anyone willing to sign N'Zogbia, Ireland and Bent or if one of their young attackers leaves then I guess they could do...
Newcastle fans are ridiculous, they're always upset about something. My friend is a Villa supporter and told me that loads of them still hate Villa because of Villa fans putting a couple of banners up* and regularly posted on Villa forums all last season saying how they were about to get what...
So you'll have to average about 30 mph, assuming you won't be long at any one ground, and travelling from Plymouth all the way up to Carlisle/Newcastle and back down to end up in Brighton? Surely it would be better to start roughly in the North and head Southwards?
Good luck anyway
I thought Swansea City were actually the ones who alerted the FL to Watford's misdealings, the Pozzo family only subsequently helped during the investigation.
By contrast, Luton actually did report the previous ones' misconduct themselves but still got a points deduction. Watford should have...
Eubank made a lot of work against a poor fighter, and actually struggled at times.
Barry Awad was the only one worth watching tonight, and he had another decent fight.
Centre back would be useful, would have a look at Danny Wilson and, obviously, Upson.
Richard Peniket has struggled a bit with injuries, but is a 20 year old Ulloa-esque striker and would be available for hardly anything - few seasons ago he was very highly rated and could be worth a punt...
Funny, Dortmund have a sizable and growing neo-nazi element among their fanbase. Weil sie singen und springen, sollten wir das vergessen?
The love-in with Dortmund is ridiculous, most European clubs have similar fans.
Well sort of. If you say oh googling hell in direct response to a decision then it amounts to a similar implication and both are clearly heat of the moment exclamations. But anyway, I was responding to:
I think the swearing is actually irrelevant here, like you say it seems the issue was...
The players are passionate and full of adrenaline. A bit of swearing is hardly a big deal in most circumstances, and certainly not in the middle of an important rugby game if you think the ref is being unfair.
From the cameramen...?
There will probably also be trouble with Chelsea/Tottenham or whoever, but that video seems to pretty unambiguously show Bayern fans getting off the coaches and Dortmund fans attacking them
