As one of my presents for my 50th birthday (and as a bit of an old raver) my wife bought us Silver Camping tickets to go to Creamfields North.
Whereas Glasto is a festival for all ages, I'm not sure that camping at Creamfields is going to be quite as easy going.
I don't want to be surrounded...
My brother-in-law is a Newcastle fan who lives in Cornwall and he has asked my advice on how easy it is to get tickets for the NUFC v Brentford game on the 8th.
So, I am calling on the shared expertise and knowledge of the NSC faithful and to put aside your partisan beliefs and tell me whether...
Just watching the news and a discussion around our occupation of India. I don’t argue the fact that we weren’t welcome.
But did we exploit the sub-continent to an extent that it was worse off than it was before than before we arrived.
Over the past few days my Instagram feed has been filled with adverts for a play called ‘The Seagull’. Obviously it’s not a theatrical retelling of events related to the selling of the Goldstone and the club’s long journey to finding a new home.
That would be too obvious.
But I wonder how...
Is the King & Queen still the best place to watch football in central(ish) Brighton?
I haven’t watched a Brighton game at a pub in Brighton for ages so just refreshing my knowledge.
Needs to be child friendly too as I’ll have my 6 year old nephew in tow. Along with his Hungarian uncle who’s...
Have any tickets for the Arsenal game come up for sale on the website in the past few days?
I’m hoping to pick up a couple if possible!
Or if anyone here has decided they have seen enough missed goal attempts for this season, I’ll be happy to purchase their tickets!
Has the Palace game gone to ticket exchange yet?
I need a single NS ticket but maybe there’s too many tickets left in sh1tty blocks to stop it going to the ticket exchange.
Made me laugh so I don’t really care but I wonder if that song helped our cause .
At the end of the day it’s his fault but I wonder if a sign like that could knock a couple of percentage points of his ‘performance’
(If you know what I mean, fnarr fnarr)
Not seen a thread yet, but after an hour or two’s viewing this afternoon. A few taking points:
1. Slippy Surface
2. Djokovic is perhaps the greatest tennis player ever (and gets my vote for this year’s winner)
3. Kate Boulter gets my vote in the ladies tournament.
Watched the lunchtime regional news for the first time in a while and the legend that is Fred Dinenage was presenting.
I knew he was getting on a bit but was amazed to read that he’s is 78.
I guess Bruce Forsyth’s longevity illustrates that giving up on TV must be a difficult choice to make...
So this thread may die on its arse or be exterminated by joke comments but I was thinking that as NSC is not short of some of pretty clever people... and as we have 2 weeks of no games, who has a business idea that can make us all rich...
A few days ago I saw an advert (or post) on Instagram for a stylised poster print of Neil Maupay giving it the cry celebration.
I want one for my son’s bedroom but I can’t find it anymore.
Has anyone else seen it (and know where I can buy it)?
Does anyone know if the seat move process is running tomorrow.
I’m tempted to move back to the North from the West Upper and tomorrow was the day to do it.
When I moved from north to west a few years back I queued for ages even though I got there at 7am.
Hopefully a smaller queue tomorrow.
