We have been playing appallingly badly since he's been available.
No one is playing well and none of that is down to Moder.
Impossible to judge whether he is "up to this level" or not.
The reality is that very few of the players we need to get rid of , would want to leave unless a Prem club want to pick them up.
Gross and Undav are the only players I can think of that might want out ( I would love for both of them to be available next season)
I suspect we will see an end...
I will start the season with the same ambitions
Beat Palace
Stay up
Finish above Palace
It won't matter who the manager is or the style of football we get to watch.
However last season's football was the best I have ever seen us play.
No ambition???
Fati and Dahoud seemed like excellent choices - Milner did not.
We offered £40m for Colwill. And when Chelsea refused to sell, brought in Igor.
Verbruggen was a typically Brighton deal - but not exactly under the radar.
And then what about Joao f***ing Pedro??
The club's...
I can't see anyone coming in for RDZ after the 2024 capitulation.
The fluid passing and tactical astuteness of 22/23, has vanished and been replaced by aimless potterball.
Personally I feel there is a big question over whether De Zerbi was lucky to inherit a well drilled squad or whether his...
The new manager is doing well, as many new managers do ( remember the expansive football from Vieira?).
De Zerbi is also a good example.
Once the rest of the league grow accustomed to the tactics, they soon learn to nullify your threat.
Palace's main advantage over us, is that their owner will...
Loved the way he pinged the ball in from the couple of corners he took.
Clearly he's been impressing in training, not sure I've ever seen the first corner being taken by anyone other than Gross.
Horrible cross under no pressure in the second half though.
This!
in the first 5 minutes the ref ignored a city player basically juggling the ball with his hand, and then gave a freekick in a dangerous position, for de bruyne falling over whilst competing for a loose ball with Gross (I think). Exactly the sort of challenge that gets waved away, 99%...
Absolutely this.
I called it after the Arsenal game.
The refs don't want to be to blame for a decision that affects the title race.
Pundits bang on about how incredible it is that City keep on winning in the closiing stages of the season.
Well frankly it isn't.
They have spent a decade...
I assume the club have decided to give up on this season and taking players carrying injuries out of the equation.
Or has t been confirmed Pervis and Fergie picked up injuries in training?
Hopefully Barco will be given a run out.
