I seem to remember last season, when Hodgson came in and they won 3-4 games there was a fair few of them predicting a run for Europe this season. That didn’t turn out too well for them.
Hopefully a repeat performance next season but with a relegation thrown in for good measure.
In the last Labour manifesto(2019) one of the pledges was to make St George’s day a bank holiday in England.
Can’t understand why the far right knuckledraggers didn’t vote for it.
I think the Police Officer got it right.
The Jewish gentleman was being disingenuous.
How many times have you , as a football fan, been told you can’t go in such and such pub, you can’t walk the other side of the road, or even down a certain road.
These instructions/orders are for your own...
Shells Braverman calling for the dismissal of MET Police Commissioner.
It’s a good job she has never heard how peaceful football fans are treated by the police.
I’ve been told I can’t cross roads, kept in grounds for up to an hour, told I can’t have a drink in certain pubs, told I can’t...
A manager with Albion links also doing well is our old friend Nathan Jones.
Taken Charlton from 5th from bottom, and not being able to win to 15, and no defeats in 13 games.
Not lost since his first game in charge, their last win before that was end of November. Seems to be a good lower league...
If your only criteria for good/bad PM is taking into an, at the time, a popular Middle Eastern war, then you must surely agree that Corbyn, as one of the only MPs to vote against the war, would have made a cracking PM.
I detested Thatcher, and the revisionism of her legacy by the present...
As someone with various health problems, I did post during the build up to the referendum that I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to get the medication that I need to live.
Apparently, I was a bed wetting remoaner, who totally believed in project fear, and this would never happen.

I see they have missed Miriam Cates,
As of December 2023, she is under investigation by the parliamentary commissioner for standards over claims she has caused "significant damage to the reputation" of the Commons and its members.

Menzies had ‘borrowed’ £14,000 previously for ‘medical expenses’

Maybe he had a nasty swelling that needed taking care of, on a very regular basis.
Is he a good friend of Wraggs?
I’d like to wish the planning permission for the redevelopment of Selhurst Park a very happy birthday tomorrow.
6 years since it was granted, and not one brick laid.
Apparently though, there is funding in place now.(150million).
So, we should see the Amex tribute act in about 2-3 years...
I’ll give you that, he has been a tad disappointing to say the least.
But, if you ask Chelsea fans, we were only paying Caicedo basic minimum wage, so, that makes up for it.
Corbyn increased the Labour vote by more than any leader( including Blair) since Attlee in 1945.
And as for winning an election they deserved to lose?
I give you Major v Kinnock 1992.
Corbyn came quite close to forming a Government in 2017, before the antisemitism smears.
You say that winning a GE is the only game in town to be a successful LOTO, and yet in your earlier post you argue that neither Thatcher or Blair who both went on to win 3 GE from that position, was a...
