    Our West Ham warm up

Well I still don't think my post was irrelevant drivel and yes, it was because the half-hearted warm-up did strike me as a big deal such that l that I made a very rare post.Normally things I feel strongly about are well covered by other NSC posts, but I hadn't seen this mentioned anywhere else...

    Our West Ham warm up

Watched our warm up from behind the goal and thought it was incredibly relaxed and casual - much less intense than the norm at the Amex - more like a pre-season at Worthing than preparation for a vital 'must win' play off qualifier away to a top 3 side. Brez looked like he was half asleep and...

    come on !!

The Plymouth 102 was in the 4th tier (it was then Premiership/Div1/Div 2/Div3) as the Championship wasn't invented then. BHA were champions of the 3rd tier (Div 2) that year! 3rd tier record is 101 by Fulham with 100 by Wigan the only other 3 figure points total. ref: English League One...

I've seen 24 games this season and so far have yet to witness a defeat!

Also 24 bha games without defeat this season - add in 2 wins at back end of last season and it was 27 games ago I last saw a defeat - vs Carlisle 10 April 2010. It will be a whole year without defeat if we don't lose to Sheffield Wed.. Wonderful times and probably never to be repeated - thank...

    Points Required

Since the introduction of 3 points for a win - in 28 of those 29 seasons - 92 points has guaranteed automatic promotion from this division. This is also the 2 points per game target which we have been close to all season..achieve that and we are up. So 7 wins/ 5 defeats or 6 wins/2 draws/4...

    700 seats sold yesterday

At the start of the third Monday presentation we were told that the first two presentations had sold just over 200 tickets - from 80 people - that's 1+1.5 per attendee. So the first four presentations on 'Day 1' probably accounted for 400 (+ a bit) tickets. Clearly around 300 must have gone on...

    Uni - kent, canterbury

Apologies for the Smiley. I don't know how it got in there! Not trying to make a point or anything. And the part time reference earlier was meant to be a joke as well. Cheers

    Uni - kent, canterbury

She's in one of the 'Courts' at Park Wood, can't remember which one....they're self catering houses rather than the colleges (which you are in???) which have canteens, I think. Btw, I looked you up on the members listing and you've both got the same birthday!! I hope you both have a really...

    Uni - kent, canterbury

My daughter starts there too, but not going till Sunday. On Saturday, she will of course be supporting the Mighty Seagulls. Of course, with a record including those last years at The Goldstone, Hereford, the dark days at Gillingham and the roller coaster years at Withdean, I'm not sure she...

What would you prefer for your £250 investment in the Club?

Shares plus some form of representation. If the Board need this much input from the fans, then there has to be some 'give' towards allowing a more direct fans influence into running the club. There must be a cheap way of sorting this shares issue process. For £2 million the Board really have to...

Shares instead of certifiates/draws/names on seats?

Whatever the reality of shares vs certificates/prize draws, the emotional side of share ownership wins hands down for me. And supporting/financing the Albion is a very EMOTIONAL thing for most of us. Also there is no donation hierarchy ('no, I'm afraid you only get a seat name for £250')...

Shares instead of certifiates/draws/names on seats?

In the general thread on the clubs need for cash, Tom Hark mentoioned how attractive a share issue might be. I think this would be much more motivating than the present approach which is turning saving the Albion into a kind of prize raffle. We could all have our stake and maybe a fans rep...

why such a delay from Prescott?

Well Yorkie I did break the news of Paul Brookers move to us from Fulham in the days of the old NSC and that got slated as well(Man of Harveys was particularly harsh I remember). Registered when the new board got set up (like you) and yes this IS the first time I've felt I've had anything...

why such a delay from Prescott?

Not a NIMBY. Season ticket holder...Supporter since 1960's...Goldstone..Cup Final...Hereford..Gillingham...etc Source would lose job Not a wind up. The whole point of the post was to show Falmer IS still there for us IF we keep going ...Got to be NATIONAL, Got to be SUSTAINED,Got to last if...

why such a delay from Prescott?

Tooting Gull is spot on. Have heard that both planning inspector reports go against us (ie No to Falmer). Prescott was due to say No last week. But the level of proFalmer publicity from all over the country has caused a delay. Originally this delay was planned to be for 2 further weeks to let...
