[Albion] Go on Jason Steele !!!!

Bart is the youngest keeper in the PL, unusual generally to have a no.1 that young. In his run of starts, Bart did appear to be making more mistakes, and rightly imho, he was rotated for City at home. None of the goals were Steele’s fault, ridiculous to suggest they were, so the selection...

[Albion] We are no longer a top 10 club

Think we have to accept some ups and downs. This is Dunk’s first notable drop in form I can remember - there’s people saying let him go in the summer on another thread…what’s going on with us as a fan base!!?? Where’s our loyalty? Can’t demand it from players and managers then have a ‘clear...

[Albion] "F*** OFF DE ZERBI, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!"

Sadly other than a couple of outliers like us last season, final PL places won’t be too far off the money table. With the players we’ve had available this season, and the amount of minutes the fit ones have had to play - we’ve done well to still be fighting in mid table.

[Albion] "F*** OFF DE ZERBI, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!"

But the NSC narrative is to: 1. Blame the manager 2. blame Jason Steele I suggest you get on the NSC binary train as posting factual stuff about injuries is just isolating you from the pile on.

I thought he was on his way down before the contact. They’re normally given though.

[Albion] Are YOU falling out of love with Roberto De Zerbi?

Baleba for me, when Steele passes to him, if he turns he’s got acres to run into. He’ll learn but he should have had that mental picture, instead he plays back to Barco who’s too young to realise it needed a hoof at that point.

Wasn’t a dive, looked a genuine slip, Moder did try to trip him 2 strides before but Foden rode it and stayed on his feet.

    [Football] FA Cup semi finals

For an architectural comparison, if you form a brickwork opening for a new window, you tend to make the window 20mm smaller so that you have a 10mm manufacturing tolerance around the frame. This analogy sums up VAR and offside for me, they have an opening in a wall, but they’ve ordered the...

    [Football] FA Cup semi finals

Agreed. Think most of us are debating the technology, it's accuracy and how it's deployed. Whether it evened out, was or wasn't offside isn't really the point.

    [Football] FA Cup semi finals

I kind of like cricket's answer to this conundrum - how much of a cricket ball needs to be shown to be hitting the stumps that the technology can reliably overturn the on-field decision. What we have lost with VAR that other sports have retained is the sanctity of the on-field official's...

Doesn’t change the limitations of the technology. Use it in a way appropriate to its accuracy.

    [Football] FA Cup semi finals

Agree. Pundits and people on here saying ‘it was offside’ - not really grasping the limitations of the technology.

    [Football] FA Cup semi finals

Trouble is VAR isn’t accurate enough to make these calls. 2 frames on and the ball is still in contact with the player’s boot as he passes it and the attacker is onside. The accuracy of this system is dependent on 2 key things: 1. Which frame the operator decides to freeze. 2. Where the...

    [TV] Fallout

We do have nuclear powered submarines - the advantage for these vehicles is they can be cooled by the sea in the event of an emergency. The same tech could probably power ships, however it’s incredibly expensive and I doubt international ports would be too keen on various nuclear reactors...
