Good full debut. There was a moment he got the ball late in the second half and every other player would have played the single ball back to Dunk but he was immediately turning and looking to play the forward ball. I'd play him on Sunday before we train that sort of fast forward football out of him.
I'm so done with these God awful officials. Especially VAR. Even though both Arsenal and City were much better than us these poor decisions DO affect the way the games pans out. Gillet has been poor for a while. Its utterly extraordinary how much big teams are getting big decisions and how VAR...
Amidst all the billions Chelsea have thrown at players they got one right with Cole Palmer. He is the one and only reason they are anywhere near the top half of the table. Hopefully he's "ill" for the rest of the season.
It remains an unbelievable event. I still struggle to believe there wasn't some sort of foul play involved. Every single decision went Spurs' way. VAR apparently couldn't get involved if the decision would be in Brighton's favour but suddenly had microscopic vision if it went Spurs way. I'm...
Indeed. I hate VAR but he is offside and he looks offside. The lino could have saved the situation by flagging to start with. We all hate it but...he's offside.
Just realised after Nuno's interview that Stuart Atwell was on VAR duty. He is consistently appalling matched only by Michael Salisbury (his partner in crime at Spurs last season). I'm much less surprised VAR didn't get involved now - he hasn't got a clue.
Somewhere there is footage of Dunk (and I think Stockdale) running across the pitch again after the Huddersfield final whistle. Can't remember where I saw it but Stockdale mentions it in the season review.
