    [Albion] Paul Fuschillo

Hi everyone, just found out my new boss at work is the son of Paul Fuschillo who made 17 appearances between 1973 and 1975 alongside a number of Albion legends, scoring one goal. He was a bit before my time, although he is on my cherished Albion spreadsheet. Anyone remember him?

[Albion] How does the team travel to and from away games?

TBH, it's not something I normally think about, but, for some reason, colleagues at work today seem to be fascinated by the question of how the team got back from Liverpool yesterday. Some reckon they'd stay overnight in a hotel, then get a flight back mid morning. Others reckoned a flight...

Help needed: cannot access Official BHAFC website at work

At work, I cannot access the www.seagulls.co.uk website because it is "uncategorized". Does anyone have any ideas how I could get around this? NSC is fine to use at work, as are youtube and eBay. My thoughts are (a) I ask our internal IT people to relax the rules on website access purely to suit...

If you like Albion quizzes, I've just uploaded some on Sporcle.....

Here's a link to one of them: http://www.sporcle.com/games/tinycowboy/brighton-and-hove-albion-players-of-the-season There are two others at the moment, I'll upload six or seven later too, with more to come. Overkill, no doubt. If you click on the link to my name on Sporcle, you should be able...

Mithras House P&R: what's the earliest time I can park my car tomorrow?

Hi, I've had three different answers - about 11:00, 12:00 and 12:30. i thought the buses started at 12:00 (I got this from the club website), so presumably the car park opens before this? I just want to park my car as early as I can, go into town and then come back later. Thank you!

Albums you like by truly appalling acts/bands

In true NSC style, I've turned a recent popular thread around. This is tricky - how much do you want to confess to? I must say, I have some fondness for a trio of what would probably be described by a major label's marketing department as "state of the art rock/pop albums". With regret, I...

Faces of fear at 'haunted house'

I don't usually post threads relating to "funny" stories in newspapers, but these photos are hilarious. Number 5 would make a great avatar or screen saver.... http://www.theguardian.com/world/gallery/2013/oct/07/faces-of-fear-canadian-haunted-house-in-pictures

    Favourite Top Trumps pictures/cards

Some images just stick in your mind. For me, it was this one from Prototypes. Also recall the electric milkfloat drawing - worst card in the pack, an absolute disgrace. Also remember an extremely menacing looking Messerschmitt from Warplanes. Anyone else have any personal faves, or cards they...

Your favourite 3 (or more) songs of all time

Tricky, because they change every so often, but right now (in no particular order) it's: 1. Gold Soundz - Pavement (a lovely, lovely song - classic Pavement acher) 2. You Never Should - My Bloody Valentine (when the extra guitar comes in halfway through, I feel like I've left the ground) 3...

Songs to get you ready for the match

"Heroes" by Bowie is already all over this forum, has to be on the playlist. I'll add "This is the one" by The Stone Roses. Any more to get us through the morning and afternoon?

    Best album-closing tracks

To my mind, you need something wistful and slightly epic, to leave you thinking "What an album that is". My choices would be: "Everyone's a VIP to someone" by the Go! Team (from "Thunder Lightning Strike") "Fin" by Pavement (from "Brighten The Corners") "Fillmore Jive" by Pavement (from...

    BHA 1 Newcastle 1 8th January 1983 - any memories of this?

My first ever BHA match, but I don't really remember anything apart from Terry McDermott and getting chips after the match. Can anyone fill in some of the details for me? I think I can recall Chris Waddle on the left wing. I know Andy Ritchie scored. I'm sure my fellow NSCers can help me piece...

    Kids and Christmas

My 5-year old gave me a card he'd done at school yesterday - usual collection of splodgy faces and big hands waving, plus a football, and, on the front, it said "Daddy, Will buck-lee runs down the wing for you". Brought a tear to my eye...

A-Z: places in Sussex you love

Could be a place, a pub, a shop, a hill - anything. Maybe don't include people. Accompanying pictures are preferable. We should be able to rattle through these - it's Friday. I'll start us off with A. Alfriston's nice, so is Amberley, but are they as good as the Amex Community Stadium? I think not.
