Transport workers at the country's largest train operator - Deutsche Bahn - started a seven-day rail strike this week. Rail unions are seeking a 5pc pay rise and a two-hour reduction in their weekly work hours. Wouldn't happen in the UK......well wait a couple of days then we will see.

Does anyone know what is being built behind the Station pub ,outside Preston Park station. They must have excavated tons of chalk so far ...seems excessive for an enlarged beer garden :rolleyes:

Mate of mine met some bloke ( but didn't get his name !) who reckoned he was an ex BHA player. Average height , was approx 55 years old.... Played for Spurs...Millwall...BHA...Swindon Any ideas..
