I have 2 spare Notts County tickets in a good central position. If anyone hasn't purchased their tickets yet and fancies them give me a private message. I'm willing to sell at £20 each (a saving of £3).
The Groom Speech....yeah i know they're supposed to be easy - a list of thank you's and then something nice about your good wife. But has anyone got any killer one-liners I should be shoehorning in?
...you want to name the 10 tables after Brighton legends. Who do you choose?
My current selection are:
Zamora (head table)
Murray
Poyet
Ward
Nelson
Cullip
Kuipers
Byrne
Foster
Reinelt
(and this is happening for real by the way!)
Just booked my ticket in W Block - and there are now just 8 seats left! Really looking forward to tonight, big game and there might even be an atmosphere (of sorts!). SEAGULLLLLSSSSSSS
Positive spin....
In my reckoning we have now played the 5 biggest teams in the 1st division away from home:
Southampton (0-0 D)
Charlton (0-4 W)
Peterborough (0-3 W)
Huddersfield (1-2 L)
Sheffield Wednesday (0-1 L)
2 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats (7 points out of 15).
5 very difficuilt games...
Dean White, "It will be a makeshift line-up on Tuesday unless we get off our backsides and go and get some players. That is a fact."
.....possibly the thickest man in the world.
I would like to see this. A young manager with loads to prove and a good (if short) track-record in the lower leagues. He will be desperate to re-establish his reputation, and I reckon it would be a great appointment by the club, and the boost the players need to escape relegation.
Bring in...
We lose one game and suddenly we're shit again. Have some perspective - it's a long season. Before tonight we had won two on the bounce against promotion candidates. Tonight was a disappointing result but i'd take 3 points in the league ahead of a League Cup win. A 4-1 defeat against Derby...
Don't really understand why we're still such a long price to win the JPT. Admittedly we got a tough draw - but 8/1 seems generous.
Swansea 2/1
Gillingham 9/2
Milton Keynes Dons 11/2
Stockport 7/1
Morecambe 7/1
Brighton 8/1
Grimsby 12/1
Bury 12/1
If everyone's fit what's out strongest starting line-up? I'd go for:
Kuipers
Whing
Elphick
Hinshelwood
Lynch
Robinson
O'Callaghan
Hammond
Cox
Revell
Forster
That's promotion winning line-up if ever I saw it :albion2:
anyone want 2 tickets for the NME Rock N Roll Riot Tour on Wednesday night? It's at the Carling Academy in Brixton. I can't go but if anyone wants them and can collect from Crawley or Horsham give me a shout. I don't expect any cash for them....
