    Local Services under pressure

No wonder the NHS is struggling financially, in my doctors surgery in the week there were four Lithuanians registering with a doctor. Now I'm not in any way racist but how can our NHS cope with this influx of migrants, not withstanding the impending arrival of more East Europeans in the coming...

    Crowds at CP and Watford

With the position these two clubs are in why are their crowds so poor?:(

    Tony Bloom

Would be interesting to know what Tony thinks of our progress or lack of it so far. I haven't seen any statements attributed to him so far. I can't remember any mention with regard to where he thinks we should be now with Gus at the helm.

    Thought the Amex

Thought the Amex came of age yesterday, the fans, the football, and the atmosphere. The premier beckons and I really do believe we will be a part of that in the next couple of years.

    Cardiff and Swansea

Should Cardiff (possibly) and Swansea really be taking the places of English teams in the Premier League.? To my mind they are a FIFA designated country in their own right and should be in the Welsh league. These two teams are denying teams like the Albion the chance of competing at the highest...

    Baffled

Baffled by the size of the crowd up there. Is that the capacity at Selhurst, 20K?

    According to Ian Dowie

According to Ian Dowie on Talksport the Brighton v Palace rivalry is right up there as one of the fiercest. After playing for Palace against the Albion Palace were showered with coins as they came off. Couldn't here what year that was.

    Bbc se

Is it just me or do BBC SE seem to delight in the Albion having a bad spell. I watched their sports news bulletin tonight and it seems they enjoy reporting that it was another defeat for the Albion. There is a definate bias in favour of the reporting of Charlton and Gillingham. Really wish we...

    8th best

Looks like the 8th best attendance out of the whole football league this weekend, a big positive, just a pity the atmosphere, was I felt flat from the off yesterday.

    Imagination

Is it my just imagination that there seems to be less and less threads about our beloved Albion and more about travelling, music tastes and diy problems. Not saying its wrong but it just seems to be erring towards the non football stuff more now than before. I can't compare ours to other clubs...

    Well done

Well done to the North Stand. I thought they they put a real shift in last night, loudest so far this season and generated a decent atmosphere.

    Sat next to

Sat next to a Liverpool supporter down here on business yesterday. He thought the stadium was great and ready for the Prem. His only negative was the lack of what he called a club anthem. I told him that GOSBTS was our anthem but he questioned why it wasn't sung loudly and passionately by the...

    North corners

Anybody know if work has started on these yet, or does work on the South Stand have to finish first? Any pics if they have.

    3rd class service in WSU

Seeing the throng of people waiting to be served on the WSU concourse reminds me of those old pics of 3rd class train carriages packed with passengers coming down to Brighton for the day out. Its appalling. Something has got to be done to have extra refreshment outlets. Would it not be possible...

    Amex today

Took a little detour to the Amex today on my way to Lewes and was surprised to find loads of builders working their butts off trying to get things finished for tuesday.Talked to one guy who was working on the East Stand and he said it was a pretty close run thing but everything will be ready...

    Extra seats work

I still cannot understand why all the work that has been done could not have been incorporated in the initial build. Surely everything could have been installed bar the actual fitting of seats. The work being done now would not have affected the initial planning for 22,500 seats. Maybe not so...

    Tony

I would imagine Tony Bloom is not a happy man tonight. The money Tony is splashing out on our fantastic stadium and the loss of revenue from a lucrative cup run will not please him.
