Have you seen Baleba how the hell did he get picked out by the star lizard super computer. I thinks that’s four assists to the opposition in as many games. I know he’s young but even so. For the money you expect a lot more.
We aren’t going to spend millions on a striker Undav’s 10 goals a season will come in handy.

I feel sorry for him, he’s literally our only true CM’er having to handle all the work of pivots. The rest; square pegs, injured or the decrepit. Previous Albion CM’s had an abundance of riches …. Mwepu, Bissouma, Caicedo, Mac and a younger Gross. Bissouma was a loose cannon who didn’t pass in his first two seasons, did he come of age at Burnley away?

Last week we were only injuries away from top 6, now it's squad overhaul o'clock.

I guess we lost tonight then!
It has been squad overhaul time for while, just finally people are waking up to it.

Moder is huff and puff.
Veltman's legs look done
Milner is virtually retired already
Lallana can't move or play 90 mins
Webster not up to it
Steele lets in 3 a game
Dahoud already binned
Lamptey made of glass

We need at least one new midfielder, a right winger, fullbacks both sides, a new centre back and some goals.

Two shite transfer windows have caught up with us.

Personally think If Chelsea hadn’t have gone mental with the fee which we couldn’t turn down Baleba would not be here. It would have been prudent to let him carry on in France and monitor him which may have been the plan. Seemed a bit panicky was never going to replace either of the departed with his experience.

I think he’s incredibly average and over rated. A weak link in the side. I know that’s not a popular opinion with some fans as he’s a busy player who plays a lot of safe, un-productive passes so some think he’s better than he really is. He offers nothing productive from an attacking point of view and absolutely nothing defensively. Physically weak and no pace. We can do a lot better.

Results have been dire since he was injured.

Could you imagine though if we didn’t have him. He’s had some decent games.

There’d literally be no one with pace and tackling in DM.

Bissouma had time to develop with quality around him. Whilst Baleba’s had Dad’s Army.

We’ve won 1 of our last 9 league games. 5 of those 9 were losses. And the 3 draws were against Everton, Burnley and Brentford. Top 6 was done ages ago. We’ve been shocking.

Gilmour doesn’t have the physicality of Moises or the creativity of Alexis. He’s well worth keeping but he isn’t filling the void of either of them and that should be the focus. The super computer has been buffering for 10months so it better kick in now or I really will question our succession planning etc
Longer than that in my opinion - it’s a a gradual decline since Ashworth and Winstanley left. Seriously concerned about the £20M we paid for Baleba to

I think Baleba will turn out well, he just needs more time and for all the doom and gloom, how many players have we had breakthrough this season and get decent games under their belts? It stands us in much better stead, even more regular players like JPvH, Gilmour, Adingra, Buoanotte etc have all made massive improvements and this is their first proper seasons playing with us really.

There are probably a few to let go, I think Lallana and Milner are on their last legs now and I don’t think they have another season in them. Fati will go back, shame he didn’t take off. I can maybe see Moder being moved on, I get the impression RDZ maybe doesn’t know what his best position is and I feel that holds him back a bit.

I do really think we need quite a large overhaul and refresh. Would like to see quite a few changes as we do carry a lot of deadwood. We lack genuine quality, physicality and players in their prime years in a lot of areas.

Unless we make some serious changes, I think we will have a real struggle next season. Players I’d move on:

Milner
Lamptey
Webster
Gilmour
Moder
Fati (obviously)
Mcgill
Peupion
Undav
Sima
Leonard
Weir
Turns
Dahoud
Alzate
Sarmiento

There are probably some under 21’s we can move on too.

That should free up further funds in addition to the profits we’ve already made to make some proper signings in addition to Osman and any other loaned out/under 21 players we think can step up.

I would keep Steele as third choice and add Lallana to coaching staff and play him occassionally when needed as a late sub. He can’t start now.
Gilmour???

Not with you on this with Bissouma early on he still had good ball control this lad I dunno runs into blind alleys because he can’t find a pass quick enough. Hasn’t got great control of the ball maybe one that won’t work out.

My memories. Biss was a crowd pleaser with his persona, tackling and crazy runs.

But wasted possession, seldom passed, hit row z every game ruining attacks and couldn’t be trusted to be the lone DM with no structure to his game.

But it all came good in the end.

Can you define what you mean by 'proper signings'? As opposed to what we have been doing for the last few year?

And Gilmore?? What are you thinking there?
