I was thinking that. But then you would surely make the announcement at the same time !
Or, being really positive here, put it out, in the knowledge that he has signed and as a reminder to everyone of how good he is, then announce he’s staying a day or two later before a big home game. Making that film and then allowing someone else to sign him up would seem a ridiculous waste of effort.

This was on TV a few weeks ago - part of the PL stories series. I only watched it because someone made a thread on here about it to notify everyone! Anyway, it seems the club have just repurposed it for their channel, so not related to any announcement (positive or negative).

It's a good watch, think it was on TNT in the build up to the Roma games in the Europa League and has been available via Sky On Demand for a while too. Not going to read too much into the club suddenly releasing it via their You Tube channel though.

Yeah - it's a Premier League Productions video.

Was it on TV in the UK? Typically this sort of thing is put together for the international PL stuff.

I watched this on TV with my husband, he turned to me when it finished and said “fair enough“ which made me laugh

The bottom half of this article is bang on, it's not just that the competition has simply worked out his strategies, they have, but that wouldn't matter if he had the players to carry them through. As the article points out with the players that left, or are injured, or in the case of Enoch forced into retirement it's a near miracle that we are not in a relegation battle. I am hoping we finish above 13th, RDZ stays, we get Mitoma and Solly back, some of the newer players improve and we make a couple of good midfield signings. Next season will then be our 4th in the PL without fear of relegation, which to me would be a good result, anything else just cream on top.

Did feel like a PL advert for him to go to another club as he's 'too big' for little old Brighton.

Shakhtar Donetsk being his favourite club he's managed.
