VAR has ruined the greatest semi final comeback of all time, and deprived us of a David vs Goliath final.

With replays now scrapped and VAR saving the big clubs time after time yet again we have an all a Big 6 final.

I don't give a shit about a Manchester Derby final.

Did anyone really think VAR were not going to find a way to disallow that goal?

and that total shit Fernandes abusing the Coventry goalie after scoring and the United keeper shouting in the face of the cov penalty taker as he was walking to the ball.

what a classless bunch of absolute shits

The linesman didn't - but assume you knew better sitting on your sofa? The players were dead level - so of course they gave it as offside rather than going with the on-field decision. The technology simply isn't there to tell them the precise micro-second the ball was played or the precise location of each player's anatomy. It's utter horsesh*t.
Oh do f*** off, as an actual qualified referee, I definitely know better than you. Also, from the angle on the TV it looked offside and I gave my opinion. Yes it was tighter than I thought, but was still offside as my instinct said. You would not have moaned if it was the other way round that United had the goal disallowed.

Let's be honest - the FA were desperate for an all Manchester final

Stinks - really stinks
Honestly, this is nonsense. They could easily have overturned the penalty decision for 3-3.

But the offside law is an absolute crock of shit once you start pretending you can judge it accurately enough that someone’s toenail can ruin one of the greatest moments in FA Cup history.

Surely the ManU goalie moved early for the penalty that was skied, and should have been retaken?
Great game to watch though.

To be fair, Man City v Coventry would have been a crap one-sided final.
At least people can watch United get a sound beating in the final again.

So gutted for them, I have a Coventry supporting friend who took time off of work to get tickets and surprised his dad with one. To lose like that. 😢

I was already to start (yet another) RDZ to Utd thread, and then VAR decides to draw a line that shattered everyone's hope of a Coventry win, and a game that would be talked about for decades.

Won't watch the final it will be a bore feast

Posters do realise just because we all desperately want a goal to not be offside, doesn't instantly make the goal in question onside, right?
