[Albion] Just Wishful Thinking?

Having just watched the last few minutes, and read the subsequent comments, of Man City’s cup win against Chelsea I wonder if this will be the best time to play them? They looked absolutely knackered and no doubt suffering from their Champions League hangover. I know we have had a disappointing last few months results-wise but surely it’s time that our luck and performances change for the better.

We always play well against City but the results tend not to reflect that. So, come Thursday could this all change for the better? We’re due a good win and it would be great to upset the proverbial title chasing apple cart. Hey-ho, hopes and dreams! :drink:

I told you the answer to this last night.

No matter how tired City undoubtedly are we'll look tirederer.
Over tiredness? It'll be because we've spent too much time training! What we really need is 3 games in a week to cut down on the need for all these training sessions.

With their crippling injury list and all the hundreds of games they've had this season ............................................. they'll still fluke by the odd three or four lucky goals.

Of course we have a chance. Arguably more than in some other games left. We will need to seriously raise it all over the pitch though. If they look tired we look abject.

Unfortunately, it's a no from me. They need the points for the title run-in. They'll find a way.

We're going to win 2-1. Our turn for an improved result and an opportunity to make it tougher for them to win the league. ABC - Anyone but City.

It would have been better if their FA Cup semi-final had required extra-time.
And also it would have helped if they had beaten Real Madrid and our fixture with them was being played on Wednesday.

Hope so would very much enjoy seeing peanut head lose it and start abusing fans in the WSL. The one time we beat them he totally lost it and that wet lettuce Potter apologised to him
This. Only time that half-bright geography teacher showed anything approaching a bit of passion, he got a mild rebuke from Pep and ended up apologising. What a f***ing loser :lolol:
