It’s the latest fad……to reduce pressure on their calf muscles. Guess they haven’t worked out that bigger socks would also work
All part of the modern footballer and this pathetic 'look at me' nonsense. They'll want crotchless shorts next. Managers should not be allowing their players to take to the field dressed like that and it's a practice that should be banned anyway. Could you imagine Clough, Fergie etc allowing it? Will not be impressed if England players wear wholly socks at the Euros.

I can’t understand those who say they don’t care who wins.

Much as I despise City and all they stand for, I want nothing but unmitigated misery for Chelsea in all games they play.

I hope they get absolutely smashed.

Very much this! Isn't Jackson utter gash. How does he fail to even get a shot off when through on goal. Just need a second yellow for Caicedo now

Sussex but not by the sea
The luck that Chelsea have enjoyed in both cups this season is ridiculous. I’m surprised there was no loophole that moved this game to Stamford Bridge.
Now they are finally ‘away’ they meet City on what looks like a rare off day. Unbelievable.

Get Doku on while De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva both have some gas left in the tank.

Jackson and Fati vs the Sheffield United defence would be the movable object vs the resistible force

Was that tackle on Grealish by Caicedo anymore than a strong tackle? Commentators suggesting another booking, come on it was on Jack Grealish, the serial cheat

We loved it when he was ours though
There was a lot of good stuff going on then too. He was the best at receiving the ball on the half turn in tight areas, then driving the team forward. Now he mainly just goes around clattering people and giving the ball away.

Strange, it wasn’t long ago compression socks were a thing. Is compression good or bad then?

IMHO everyone should be allowed to kick Grealish once before it’s even deemed a foul
