I have no idea what they were like for the rest of the season but that Sunderland side, that had a chance of promotion in 1979, looked very average judging from the last two weeks of Big Match Revisited.

It doesn't appear that the Big Match Revisited will be on Sunday.

Both editions are on ITV Player at the moment, which you can check out if you don't mind the streaming woes of that service!

Of course, as an added option, Freddie, I'll be putting both editions with the Brighton games online in the next two weeks....

Watching that again this morning, I’d forgotten that Sully had played on into the second top flight season and also that Chris Ramsey had made his debut so young.
