If we could deny Man Utd a European place on the final day of the season, I feel like I would take that now, even if it means doing basically bugger all in the 5 games prior.

Yeah I know the feeling. I'd rather screw up Chelsea though given the choice

Yeah but selfishly I'll be at the Man United game, but not the Chelsea one. And it's last day of the season.

Is the city game still potentially changing to the Wednesday?
If City...

- Get through against Real Madrid, and
- ...are chosen to play their semi-final on Tuesday 30th April

...then...

- their game against Forest will have to move from Sunday 28th April to Saturday 27th April, and
- ...our game with them will have to move from Thursday 25th April to Wednesday 24th April.

Thank you. I’m guessing the semi final draw would be the next day after their Madrid game?

The draw has already been made.

Atletico or Dortmund vs PSG or Barcelona
Arsenal or Bayern vs Real Madrid or Man City

UEFA just need to decide which order the semi finals will be played in. It does seem somewhat ridiculous that they do the QF and SF draw at the same time but don't decide the ordering of the semi's at the that time as well, it can't make that much of a difference to the TV schedules etc.

The 'draw' has been made and City, should they go through, will play either Arsenal or Bayern. City have been deemed the Away team in the semi final. As there are only two games, it must have been decided already which game is played when.

As per my post above it hasn't been decided which order the semi finals will be played in, or we'd know the date of our game against City without this current caveat.

Also the semi finals are two legs so City will be away in the first leg.

Newcastle , Chelsea , United in 8 days.

That's quite a schedule.
With March, Mitoma and an in-form Pedro even playing, we would well find that very tough

Yes, your reply beat me by 5 minutes. But who decides which night shall we say Arsenal v Man City will be played? TNT so it doesn't clash with Eastenders? But it is shown all over the world.

City out of Champions League, so our game stays as Thursday 25th

Looking like 8th is gone Europe wise. You’d have to question whether we’ve really done enough across the season to deserve Europe also.

Provided De Zerbi stays I think a year out of Europe might not be the worst.

If we cant manage to get another 4 points which is going to be tight this season our points per game average from the last 32 PL games will be below 1. Playing 84% of the season getting less than 1 point per game wont give us Europe no
