Always thought Arsenal gave up on him too soon and well, PSG is PSG. It's impossible for any coach to succeed there so can't really blame him.
For me Unai is the best manager itw for "midtable clubs" over the last 10-15 years. Would certainly deserve another chance at a big club but would need to go somewhere where he'll be given enough time. From current top jobs (possibly) available Liverpool would fit that description the best. Chelsea definitely not and United probably also not.
That said, don't see him leaving Villa anytime soon.

Cole Palmer's explanation for the row about who was going to take the penalty was bizarre and perhaps he'd been better off saying nothing. It seemed he was suggesting they all wanted to show how they were wanting to contribute to the performance. Huh? But then he nailed when mentioning he's the penalty taker. That dressing is fooked and now just maybe you think how on earth was our old ' grey ' tooth sucking manager supposed to deal with that?
I thought the same during his Arsenal time, a head of steam built quickly from fan power.
It’s not a fair comparison with Arteta’s time, as they’ve spent £761m on players since. Kroenke was hated by Arsenal fans for not spending, in a volte face in the Arteta era he subsidises the huge spend.

Yeh. Gallagher comes out of that well. And if Palmer can keep his cool and strike a good pen under those circumstances, maybe he can also do it in a quarter final shoot out in Germany
But Chelsea are the club who always prove that the policy of just buying the best and most expensive mercenaries from around the world has consequences. I always think back to the Kepa not being subbed thing. It's always that club.
People should be talking about a great 6 goal victory. Instead their talking about this. I thank god I was called to support Brighton and not a shower of absolute s***e like Chelsea

Actually think Gallagher was too slow in all that. The moment the first discussion took place he should have been over there, grabbed the ball, told everyone to f off and given the ball to Palmer. Probably shows how little authority he has because the moment Dunk does that things are sorted imho.
Do agree with the guy on that video though, if you've had a hat trick give the pen to a player looking for a bit of confidence. Imagine if Gross had a hattrick, or JP, I'd want someone like Ferguson to take it.

They don’t need to, Palmer was an understudy to Foden. I remember being delighted when they took Foden off at the Amex and brought some kid on who proceeded to be just as effective as Foden had been. Palmer is class but he won’t be replacing Foden or accepting being his understudy again so no way are City going to buy him back.
