I could write a book on his exploits whilst supporting The Albion. We used to bunk in to so many grounds because he found a Huddersfield press pass at a match somewhere. He even told the young barmaid in one of the lounges that all the drinks were free to the press.

RIP Nigel, am smiling at the memory of your mascot appearance at the Goldstone. One of the funniest moments I’ve ever witnessed in the game.

Ditto. And didn't the famous pitch knee slide involve his arse being partially exposed?

Featured large in Gulls Eye tales and as previous poster qualified entirely fitting that Lenny should be involved in his glorious send off.

Amazing character. I always picture him standing there with a pint in his hand, which looked like a gallon in his hands! A War Years veteran. They're disappearing fast unfortunately.

Remember Nigel well from the quiz nights at Broadwater WMC with him and Harty. Always used to love a chat about the Albion. A decent bloke and great fun.

Sorry to hear this Harty, I know you will do him proud but it must be really tough for you too, I know you were great friends. Best of luck mate.
