He explains that he's not trying to leave or wants to leave that his English means he's been misunderstood at times. Not sure why you're getting upset?
I’m just sick of hearing about him, his future and his need to hear about the club’s ‘plan’. He should have shut this talk down ages ago, regardless of the quality of his English.

Instead he really should have been talking about what he’s going to do this season with the talented squad he has currently because we have been so poor and his management has been sub standard for 6 months now.

Like others I’m tired of hearing him tell the press the squad isn’t good enough, he needs to talk about his future, so and so can improve etc. The season has pretty much fizzled out with 6 games to go and most of the blame has to lie with RDZ. It’s frustrating, disrespectful and cannot be motivating for the players.

Is it possible he's lost some of the players and they're just going through the motions?

My biggest fear is the squad gets shredded.

Van Hecke, Jao Pedro, Enciso and Adingra potential targets

I doubt Mitoma will sell as he's broken

Gross to return home, Dunk, Veltman in their autumnal years, becoming bit part back up?

added to previous departees . . . . It could very well be a massive rebuild and avoid relegation year.

or maybe the same/new coach with a fresh outlook . . .

who knows . . . . It is what it is, there's f*** all we can do about any of it and nothing to learn . . .we just watch and shout a bit. 🙄

I do wonder what TB is thinking right now. Given our form this year, our dire performances and the general malaise around the squad at the moment, there probably should be a question over his job, but then there's always a chance someone will come in and pay us to take him rather than us paying him to go...

I really can't see him staying another season. Great if he can get his mojo back with a full squad next season but that seems less likely by the day. The spark is long gone and him being in charge is harming our performances/results and harming his credibility.

I think (not based on any actual info) he's made his mind up that he wants out and the players are aware, but he knows we'd probably prevent him getting another job for a while or demand compensation from whoever appoints him next if he walks away.

Personally feel that poor second half of the season is down to RDZ.

Sure, we had injuries, but is that bad luck or our training regime? Villa have barely rotated all season and look at them.

His constant moaning of not having the squad available to him (it's every week), the rotating of the GKs, the will he / won't he be here next season SAGA - he absolutely should have shut this down and put the focus on this season, not next! He's responsible for that.

We have an absolutely huge summer ahead of us now, if he's in charge next season and he deems that TB hasn't backed him, then it is going to become real toxic, real quick. The atmosphere, the morale is already drained since that Luton game and Lallana came out and had that funny interview.

All the right ingredients are there for a real struggle next season.

RDZ is top manager whose side plays incredibly brave high risk football that many people often struggle to tolerate.
Our squad this season has been devastated by injuries.

Our recent struggles have removed his halo and it appears he's now less in demand than a few weeks ago.
But I'm looking at that as a positive, as I feel our lack of recent results has actually strengthened our long term hopes by making him more likely to stay with us.

I accept that we have a small percentage of fans who have become irritated with his comments and would prefer him to leave. Poor results always bring out strong demands for change. That will always be the case.

However, I think RDZ is absolutely fantastic and our best managerial appointment ever.
If he stays at Brighton I will be absolutely delighted. I'm looking forward to next season already.

I love RDZ, I feel we're lucky to have him.

I wonder whether Crodo will help me with my gardening question. I'm sure Polly and Giles may have some tips.
