Wow, can you imagine how slow the funeral procession would be?

Pretty much.
That and some pretty shoddy police work as LAPD knew they had OJ banged to rights so they trampled over the crime scene and basically didn't do any due diligence.

That said if someone wants to say otherwise I'll not argue - too long ago.
Apparently after the trial he was going to ask the judge for his gloves back, until his attorney pusuaded him it wasn't a good idea.

As someone with a naive/barely-there comprehension of the situation, did he really get off on the basis that glove didn't fit his hand?
He got off because the jury was start-struck.

Theres a brilliant 3 part documentary which is often on streaming or on iPlayer. OJ: Made in America

Nearly 8 hours long but utterly fascinating. First part gives an on depth background into the race divisions and the anti-police feeling at the time. All of it is key to understand before the trial coverage and how the jury (who the selection of was a key aspect) came to their (mad) decision.

The work his legal team did to sway the jury was terrifyingly clever.

This was a race/anti police trial and his team nailed it. Little things like removing all the photos of OJ with white celebs from around his house and putting up pics with black people so the jury could resonate more with him when they visited his property and wouldn't see him as having turned his back on the black community having "made it".

Probably my favourite ever doc
