If (okay, when) Sheffield are relegated this season, they will start next season at -2 points.

Sheffield United deducted two points by EFL for defaulting on payments

isnt there then argument that they escape punishment by leaving EFL to play PL and should've had the deduction this season? Im sure the other relegation teams will moan if by a miracle Sheffield U stay up.

2 points is 2 points if it means the difference in relegation or staying up.

Kind of like how the electoral votes in Nebraska are divided up. BTW, it was Mr AMA who pointed out Nebraska has a split in electoral votes, the Omaha Dem vote, which if it decides an election is very important.

Good. It would have made difference if the points were taken now, they are already relegated imo.
