The Man U tickets that went on sale today required Albion+ with 165 points or more to get them. Then, tomorrow it will be 55 points.

After that it’s 14 days ownership of Albion+, so I would expect away supporters to get some of those tickets. But at least the club are trying to offer the better seats to Albion supporters first.
Plenty of existing A+ members who are United fans to mop up any left, or any exchange tickets though I suspect

The club would rather kick out shouty home supporters who tell away fans to f*ck off, than celebrating away fans.

That has nothing to do with the violence of 40 years ago.

Other than Fulham, I’m not sure other clubs take that stance. The fortress might even be liked to help generate a nightmare for away teams.
The worst bans this season are the lads at Ajax that got banned on the word of Ajax stewards. Personally I would have lost that email. The headmaster couldn’t resist unfortunately.

And then when our FAB representatives tried to help some of them appeal they were allegedly told to “Back off”.
Is this so? I can't see any FAB minutes published since November 2023. (On the club website).

I can't see anything in the FAB minutes other than 20/11/23

"We discussed the bans handed out to those who were accused of throwing beer at the Ajax away game.
ACTION Gill to draft an email to the club on this and the action taken to date before we take a position."

Now I might have missed it but I can't any further reference in the FAB minutes.

If this is true, it does very much support the "what's the point" sentiment already expressed in this thread.

We are all replaceable fan numbers these days. I’m not surprised. That excitable young lad who celebrated Websters goal sums up the current state.
I’ve seen stewards from other clubs simply push fans back into the stands without any drama or bans after a goal.

I’m sure PBOBE is fully aware. But (with just Fulham doing this too) he quietly welcomes literally anyone into the home stands as long as they’re “respectful”. All of part of the happy clappy family friendly ethos. From day one of the Amex, a year before he arrived, it was patently obvious the club would far rather ban anyone showing aggression, standing. Bored of Poyet’s passing round the back, from WSU D H front row, we watched snatch squads targeting folk in NS.

Spot on. It is why our atmosphere is shit at times. If I spotted an Arse in the stand, they would be told to f off.

Just back from a few days abroad. We went to see the relegation battle between Cologne v Bochum on the Saturday. There was one Bochum fan in our block who was wearing his colours, not a single Cologne fan seemed bothered. Bochum scored and this fan went crazy. Did it all kick off? No. Was this fan evicted? No. Late into the game Cologne score twice, the tables turn, any grief given to the Bochum fan? I think you can guess the answer. He was just left to sulk. See picture- quite amusing. Obviously the culture of away fans sitting in the home end is different depending on the league, the country you are in and the degree of rivalry between the teams but to witness it happening and it being so totally acceptable and part of the norm was really quite very refreshing.

You often see this in Germany an alone Stuttgart fan at Dortmund this past weekend was going mental in the home end no one batted an eye lid.

Bayern fans were escorted out of the home end at the theatre of snooze last night with arsenal hard men throwing punches behind stewards
