Referee in the City / Real game has been absolutely superb.

Might bookmark this for the next Brighton ref meltdown thread. It’s not that I hate referees, it’s that our domestic ones are comparatively terrible.

Superb by the ref and idiotic by Saka. He quite clearly throws his leg towards the keeper. Instead of initiating that contact it would have been easier to try and take the ball past the keeper.

Yep. Two teams I’ve no time for normally but that was pure entertainment without any need for anyone to fuzz some toys out of their pram. Great game, well officiated.
