Maupays went on and on. Just when you thought he was finished he gave them some more. I'll try and find the full video and report back. It needs another airing I think.I offer you Van Hecke celebrating Dunk's goal against Palace as a bit of soothing moral balm - at 3 minutes in there wasn't really enough time for the Palace player to aggravate him that much to make it personal, which makes it all the more special.

With van Hecke, I'm not sure if you are being disingenuos or if you have simply been fooled by the optics of that photo. Anyway, he certainly wasn't laughing in the face of Schlupp (as it appears at first glance). As soon as the ball goes in the net he runs towards Dunk, who pushes him away. van Hecke then turns (still celebrating and jumping up and down) and runs off in the same direction as Dunk. He doesn't even know Schlupp is there.
As regards Maupay (and Duffy for that matter) - celebrating a first team goal by goading your rival team's fans? Fine by me.
Cormac Austin, though - his actions were of a c**t of the highest order. It's an U-18s league match (so no fans), and after scoring he purposefully runs towards the goalkeeper to gloat in his face (I've watched the video). He almost causes a mass brawl. What an absolute mess of a human being.

I agree about knee slides and various ' look at me ' stuff. Knee slides ( especially when a half dozen players jump on top of the fellow in a pile ) must be bad for the body and the pitch. One ' look at me ' which really irritates me is the players who keep a grim face with no smile but crossed or outraised arms towards the crowd. Oh, and the pointing to their name on their shirt.....
