One of those annoying ones. I had a mental list of guesses which could have come up trumps for a lucky 2 or fizzled out into a 4 or 5. It was the latter today.

Spoiler: The other words

Appear to be Preed, Dreed, and Treed. Not obvious choices ahead of the actual answer. I also thought Wordle didn't allow past tense words ending -ed...such as Freed. Maybe it will accept them as guesses but they won't be the answer?
