Totally changed my opinion on him but ultimately it's down to the authorities to act on stuff like this and season after season they don't. VAR intervenes for marginal offsides, strikers deliberately falling over defenders outstretched legs, ridiculous unavoidable handballs but blatant cheating? That's fine, carry on.
The FA are an absolute f***ing shambles, as much of an embarrassment to football as Ben White, Drogba, Klinsmann etc...
As long as cheating isn't dealt with nothing will ever change.
Sums up Arsenal football club. They used to be respected under Wenger but Arteta has turned them into a throughly unlikable team. Diving, feigning injuries, constant moaning.

Very much in the camp that hopefully anyone but Arsenal wins the league.
As in these two posts, I just totally changed my views on both Ben White and Arsenal yesterday.
I always felt some sort of pride in Ben White - not any more. That happened right below us in WSU - pathetic and ridiculous.
And I think I’d rather Palace win the league now than Arsenal!

A very odd weird prick. Never much liked him when he was with us and now he can f*** off

I liked White as a player at Brighton. He didn’t throw any tantrums re the Leeds situation and was respectful when he went to Arsenal. Plus we got £50m for him. Win win.
Yesterday’s melodramatic reaction was a bit strange though.
The fact that he doesn’t want to play for the waist coated wan@er makes me think that the dive was a one off misjudgement against his ex team mates.

Some tw*t on Talksport this morning advocating retrospective punishments for simulation - absolutely agree with that, BTW - but when asked if that would apply to Ben White if it was introduced, his answer was, "No, because you couldn't tell if that was simulation or not!"

Must be an Arsenal fan (Tw*tter level of perspicacity!)

Shouldn’t VAR be having a word in the ref’s shell like about simulation then?? Although given the shambles of the refereeing in the first half particularly, they must have been hiding under their desk or something….
There should absolutely be a post-game review panel that looks at shit like this and awards yellows for simulation.

Just anything to stop the dark arts from completely ruining the sport.

Reminds me a bit of Sergio Ramos. He’s clearly a ****. When he is your **** then you love him when he’s not well there is very little to like about him.

I wouldn't care what sort of footballing advantage may accrue from doing something like that.

I would never debase myself in that manner. My self respect is more important
I saw it in real time. My eye was caught by some subliminal movement, White eying up our man and moving toward him, then trying to intimidate him by running into him. Then he feigned injury. What an utter plum.

Said the other day refusing to play for your country is odd and get the impression he’s now a bit of a ****. I was right 🤫
I stuck up for him at the time, but with the enormous benefit of hindsight, I can see that White has been sulking pathetically over some subliminal slight by the England assistant manager that is so nuanced he can't even put it into words, leaving even the highly-trained mind of Southgate in the dark.

My revisionary analysis concludes that the frankly alarming amount of fake tan speaks of a man in a state of mental turmoil, constantly worried about whether he is incredibly lovely, or merely rather attractive. I have my own views but it's too sunny a day to start calling footballers 'wankas'. So 'soppy tit' will suffice.

It's getting a lot of traction on social media, shame the commentators/pundits didn't make more of it.

Utterly shameful.

The funny thing is, the only genuinely violent act in the whole thing is HIS swipe at Enciso. Would have been a wonderful moment of instant karma if he’d caught Julio with that, and had been sent off.

The more I watch it, the more unbelievable it becomes. What an absolute f*** nugget.
