[Albion] Question re: guest tickets for Arsenal

Basically, I have a mate recently diagnosed with cancer who I wanted to go with me to the Arsenal game tommorow to cheer him up a bit. He's not got any account with the albion so I have just bought an extra ticket on the exchange and assigned it to myself and by extension my fan number. However I have now noticed that it says one ticket per eligible fan number on the website. There is also something about guest tickets requiring a login but I don't quite understand that. My question is: Can I use my season ticket and him the exchange ticket I have just bought or is only one of these tickets valid? When one is scanned will the other become invalid? Thanks in advance for any help, it'll be really, really appreciated.

Guest ticket will always be in the name of the STH (and by extension you’re responsible for their behaviour etc). Tickets should both be fine to use. Hope your mate enjoys it

Enjoy the day and all the best to your mate.

Quick question, and it’s not for me if anyone from the club is watching! If someone was to send a screenshot of a ticket for a game, does this work at the turnstile? (Genuinely someone random has just asked me)

No it doesn’t as the bar code ‘regenerates’ itself every so often , so the bar code you have screenshotted won’t be the same one on the digital ticket

if a non-season ticket holder you need a mate that has a fan number that has got tickets before, as new sign ups often get rejected in this situation. In your case, I think it's always best to post a thread early in the week and I think you would find at least one fan that would sell you their ticket because of your mates situation. I've seen Brighton fans sort people out in your situation, you'd be surprised how nice fans can be in situations like yours. I hope your mate gets tickets, have a great day.

I think they mean a screenshot of a season ticket so it’s the QR code, not the barcode on a normal ticket?

On an Android phone, well on mine anyway, it gives a message saying 'Cant take screenshot for security reasons' if you try it on the ticket page. If you then go on to the barcode page for the game then there's a hard-coded message (which I've not noticed before) saying 'Cant take screenshot for security'. Mind you, I've only got an Omsung Phine, technology may have moved on a tad

The one ticket per eligible membership number will mean you can only buy one guest ticket for this match in your name. The City game says two tickets per fan number. If you tried to buy another ticket against your fan number you’d more than likely be told you can’t at checkout.
