Interesting how different styles/clubs fare against certain opponents.

Potter/RDZ couldn’t buy a win against Fulham, who simply sit back waiting for the possession based team’s key blunders.

Whilst Wolves, SheffU and Forest have no problem in scoring against Fulham.
I’m sorry, are you suggesting we should be more pragmatic and alter our style of play depending on the opponent? Because that’s not very de Zerbi ball.

What do we know?

My personal preference is at all times when attacking, for two pacey players to patrol by the centre line. Might be a DM and a FB, or a FB and CB. A theory I’ve had for years. Would likely have prevented recent goals at WHL and Craven Cottage.

I love RDZ, but don’t get the 10 players 75 yards from our goal thing when facing a counter attacking team.

that's because both managers had only one style of play and didn't have a plan B . Sure that's a harsh comment and not 100% accurate but close enough I think to summarise why we struggle.

RDZ got us into Europe, there must be method in the everyone 75 yards from our goal routine.

I just hate it when an outplayed team takes the spoils by simply exploiting the (imho unnecessary) open prairies.

Manchester United have taken 2 points more from Fulham than the Albion have this season - which is odd as I was told we were so much better than both teams.

Talking of which, have they abandoned the only one coach in the technical area thing or is it special dispensation for Newcastle?
I believe it is 'mostly' only one, there is allowance for another coach to move back and forth from the benches to the technical area, relaying instructions etc. So others are allowed, but I've been on the West Ham/Spurs match, so not sure how much they are pushing it.
