Just catching up with the press conference, two things I took from that that I liked…
The Tony project & Coolio Ncheezo, sounds like a good gig that. The rest is bollocks.

But then both of them just get on with the job and don’t spend pressers bitching and moaning, whilst alerting others clubs to their dissatisfaction and potential availability.

Some find the above refreshing and understandable because RDZ is honest and doesn’t speak good English. I find it disrespectful to the owner and the club

RDZ is what he is, like it or lump it. He has always spoken about honesty being important with his relationship with the club and the fans.

He’s said here simply what is going on, not in a vindictive way or a critical way, actually sounds very respectful to me.

But quite simply, if RDZ does have Liverpool and/or Bayern trying to take him off our hands, we are never going to match that level of ambition, no matter what Bloom or Barber say to him and no matter what the club’s “plan” is.

The free flowing attacking football of last season is the best buttttt as others have said numerous times , at the end of the season before Potter left he was doing similar and then started last season on fire.

Right place right time for zerbi. He will invariably fail at a Chelsea next then off to Italy or Spain but Brighton have been amazing in his career progression. Lucky guy. Shame he’s not a bit more grateful and can’t keep his mouth shut. Honesty is great but miserable , negative , sly digs at bloom honesty ain’t great .

You may be correct, but at the moment I absolutely love what he has achieved at our club and his desire to achieve more.
He has our little Brighton playing some of the most exciting and talked about football in the world game. He has made people sit up and take notice of us. The likes of Guardiola and Klopp are no mugs and they both speak of him very highly.

RDZ is unproven at the highest level but he hasn't yet had the chance to manage a club with a squad of players like at City, Liverpool, Bayern or Barcelona.
In future years history may show that RDZ is another Marcelo Bielsa, admired around the world but winning little.
Someone will eventually take a punt on him, but I hope it isn't until after next season at least.

I reckon we will look back and realise how amazing and exciting the performances he helped us produce were.
He's not negative, he's a very frustrated positive person who loves the club and its players.
However we all know that he's not going to win the Champions League at Brighton.

Viva Tony Bloom and Roberto De Zerbi. Both are legends.

If RDZ wants top 6 then he needs to get in a defensive coach, work on our defensive tactics and adopt a plan b.
