I had seen her about 18 months before at Pizza Express sevenoaks, as the guest vocalist with the regular jazz trio before her first album and been completely blown away.

The most curious thing..
I was in a (pretty good if I say so myself) blues band about 15 years ago, and we supported them . . . . No original members . . . A few people very nicely said we were the better band. Not a patch on this though . . . A different beast.
