Might be booking to see a band at the ropetackle and not sure whether to get the train or drive. What time do gigs usually finish ?

I saw Dr Feelgood with me Dad at the Ropetackle a few months back. I can't remember exact finish time but it was very RESPECTABLE.

On the website they usually put the running time, bands usually play for 2 hours...There isn't much parking around there, except down the side streets or in Ropetackle itself (parking illegally in visitor spots), not too bad a walk from the station if it isn't piddling down...several pubs along the way.....

About 3pm I think 🤣

Also, plenty of parking round there. You’ve got the Shoreham Centre car park, library car park (bit naughty) and some street parking.

But seeing as you can walk from one end of Shoreham town centre to the other in about 3.5 mins, you’ll be fine.

Parking adjacent to Adur Recreation Ground on the other side of the Norfolk Bridge. Only accessable from the eastbound side of the A259. Roundabouts fairly close to change direction. 700 bus route stops are close which also serve the number 2 route.

Yep, 700 bus is what I’d go for. Both stops ar almost on the doorstep.

It's normally down to the act (within limits).

When we first played the Ropetackle we used to finish at 11, couple of encores and off at 11.15. Last time we played it IIRC we finished at 10.15, couple of encores and off at 10.30 (we played it for a good few years though). The average age of the act you're going to see will give you a clue
