I just listened to that TS piece - very interesting (thanks). One non-Chelsea reflection - Man Utd must have been really stupid to do the deal pre-30th June....they had Chelsea over a barrel, but still coughed up £55m! Hopefully no one else will be so stupid in June 2024. One would like to think that all the other Premier League clubs will very much enjoy the prospect of seeing Chelsea docked points next season, and therefore will steer clear of Broja, Gallagher and the like....even at knock-down prices.

Oh yeah I'm not saying 'no more wins for us', we'll bloody the odd nose between now and the summer.
But that's a long way from 'we'll beat x, y & z on the way to next seasons Europa League' & we should be beating #TeamsLikeChelsea.

The team isn't running at 100% and hasn't been for quite a while.
95% doesn't get the job done in the EPL and that extra 5% doesn't appear to be returning any time soon.

I think I'm at about the same level as you. Other than the game against Grimsby I haven't expected us to win any particular game since April 2017. On the other hand I can go to every game with realistic hope of a win and have done so since towards the end of Potter's reign (you know, when he spotted Caicedo could play football and everyone tried shooting). This makes me happy, so then Europe and so on makes me tumultuous.

Let Chelsea collapse. If all clubs hold their nerve until near June 30th then Chelsea would be forced to sell a LOT of players for way less than market value or would have to take their chances with a big points deduction. What we don't want is some rich, stupid club like Man U offering £50m+ for Conor f***ing Gallagher in mid-June.

Actually when does the transfer window open? It will also be in the middle of the Euros.

Yes. It's rare I wish ill fortune for another club but I would like those associated with Chelsea FC to pull together and drag that awful club down still further.... and I really hope RDZ is never tempted by Boehly to join them....

This new development is hilarious. The fans are not divided scream fans group in denouncing fellow fans. I am amazed at the ingenuity on display at making Chelsea look more of a laughing stock with each passing day.

Well it is now, but if you remember he was considered one of the best full backs in the league when he was with us. Man City offered (allegedly) £30m for him which was turned down. Then the London mugs came onto the scene. :laugh:
