He’s also got BCNR on some dates as well. It’s a huge tour, must be the biggest he’s done and all at arenas. He’s almost sold out the Berlin date. Amazing that someone so far into their career is reaching so many new people.

Eye watering ticket prices have put me off.
Seems to be the case with any band of note these days. The The has cost me 70 euros, Oneohtrix Point Never was 50.
He's not really an arena kind of artist tho....
Glad I saw him on Hastings Pier with all its velvet drapes and Gothic feel to it
I have seen him in an arena and it was jaw dropping how he commanded the audience. He had the crowd in his palm…The silence at one point was deafeningly ery

Must be an arena gig thing, which I have always tended to avoid.
Mary Chain at the Roundhouse next week is about £40 and that’s as far as I’ll go personally
Or the escape club in Brighton.
And Hastings Pier, which was damn good.
I’ve see him quite a lot of times over the years. The last being at Victoria Park gig in London in 2018 which had thousands there, and he and the band were awesome.
But I refuse to pay £60 to £100 for a ticket. The 02 holds, what 15000. At those ticket prices the gig will gross close to a £1m. I get touring is expensive and costs are high, but Mr Cave is raking it in. My choice, and probably my miss out too, as he’s a brilliant show man.

Also at that Victoria Park gig, which was superb. The sound was amazing. There were a fair few decent other acts on the bill too. Saw The Psychedelic Furs for the first time in c35 years and Courtney Barnett was on it too.

Couple weeks back now but saw Knocked Loose at O2 Forum Kentish Town.
Unbelievable gig with three really good bands.
Started with Headbussa, a traditional hardcore band complete with a nosh pit of flailing arms and flying kicks.
Second support were Deafhaven, a more traditional metal band with shoe-gaze elements and were a bit of an odd choice in the lineup but an amazing band.
Then Knocked Loose, the angriest band I've ever heard but their live show was unbelievable, three vocalists each lending their own range throughout an incredible set list.
This was their opening, absolute carnage and only a great band can get away with using their own band name as a pit call-out. "KNOCKED LOOSE MOTHER F*CKER".
Another favourite was Counting Worms featuring the iconic "Arf Arf" call-out.

Very melodic if you actually listen. The guitar and drum playing is extremely technical as well.
Also to use that vocal style takes a huge amount of technique, it's incredibly difficult to do and to do it for a prolonged period is even harder.
You'd probably also think something like this is "just noise"

You might want to check out a group called Earth Ball from Canada. They play Lewes Con Club with Chris Corsano on 29/5. Similar to Wolf Eyes, ie. experimental, improv.
