If it's any consolation, the people that should be repenting here are probably the ones who put the message up in the first place.
What about a nice seasonal message for those of us who like a bit of sin from time to time

It's an electronic display in the middle of the departure board. If you walk into a London Tube Station you will often encounter similar messages on a white board.

Hopefully the departure board will be used to notify us all of Jesus's crucifixion on good friday.
Then the arrivals board to celebrate his return on Easter Monday.
(not sure I've got my days right, Sunday school was a long time ago).

I really don’t want this to turn into a binfest or drag the racists out, but what were they thinking with this?
I don’t think a train platform timetable board is any place for preaching any religion. They’ve made the right decision now, but who on earth let this happen?
I think organised religion should be kept in the homes and places of worship and organised events - not in one of the busiest train stations in the world.
Who wants to be be called a sinner and told to repent on their morning commute?

Completely agree. Load of bollocks, all of it. Not sure why we allow any of it tbh. They hate freedom if expression and the gay community, so they cab f themselves.,

Random that they displayed it on the 9th day. It would've caused a lot less hassle if whoever was in charge of putting the timetable board up, just wrote something like Eid Mubarak on the 1st and last day of Ramadan. I'm a 'Christian' in the sense that I've been 'Christened', but I'd be very pissed off if I arrived at Kings Cross on Easter Sunday and was told I have to repent all my sins (or equivalent). Not withstanding the fact that I'd be there until at least Xmas Eve, I'd find it embarrassing that such a big thing had been made of it in a public space.
I used to wrap up cakes for all the kids in my son's class at school when it was birthday cake distribution day, so they could take it home & eat it after school if they wanted/needed to, as his birthday used to be around the time of Ramadan. That wasn't to be 'politically correct', it's just that I'd feel like a bit of an arsehole if some of the kids could eat them instantly & the couple of kids in his class who were observing Ramadan had to watch them. Problem solved if they all had to take 30 seconds to unwrap them when they left the classroom door.
That probably sounds like I only buy sourdough bread from the Flour Pot bakery, 2 sandwiches that cost £10 with no mention that one of them contained mustard means I'll just stick to Sainsburys sandwiches.
Eid Mubarak, Happy Easter, Happy Hanukah etc works fine for most people, so easier to stick to that. No need for anyone to say I have greetings wrong either.

I’m rather impressed but also it’s a bit unnerving a total stranger is potentially monitoring you or making mental notes or is of the persuasion to research you however easy over several decades. Still, the internet is forever and thus no place for reformation. Might just withdraw for a while though, because you’ve unsettled me even if unintended. Timely reminder to take more care online. Being gay and being a Muslim are not both lifestyle choices. One is. The other isn't. One you're born as. The other you're not (despite what your mum and dad might say).
Acknowledging one is acknowledging part of the human spectrum, Acknowledging the other is acknowledging a choice.
Once choice is brought to the table, other choices, not brought to the table, become legitimate causes for consternation.
For me, diversity and inclusion cover issues over which we have no choice. Sexual orientation. Neurodiversity. Etc. These should all be celebrated.
My religion, my favourite football team, my political allegiance are all personal choices.
I'd enjoy 'f*** off Palace, you'll never see the Palace in the Dam' banners at Victoria. But I don't deserve it. I'd be embarrassed, frankly.
