[Albion] I love Danny Welbeck

Danny Welbeck is a better all round footballer than Mohamed Salah. That ain't even debatable. Mohamed Salah will always win the polls, he will always win the favourable in the comments section and bla bla bla, because of the output that he has and the trophies they have won, which I accept. But overall, with technical ability, dribbling, first touch, well, Danny Welbeck is better on all. Danny Welbeck overall, as a footballer, is better than Mohamed Salah.

If Welbeck were good in the air, we'd have scored at least once in Rome. His goals return is well under-par this season and probably for his career.

Out-and-out striker never scoring more than 10 goals in a season and always been playing a fair bit in his clubs but always also been on the bench when better options are around. Bang average is fair imho but not a bad thing, we spent YEARS looking for a bang average PL striker before we signed him

Elton John and his best mate Jenny Agutter visit the Lancing training ground. The players all trot out onto the pitches with Welbeck bringing up the rear by some distance. A clearly enfuriated RDZ squints across and asks “Who is that player at the back?” Elton says “Oh it looks like Daniel”
As the players are warming up Elton and Agutter have a flutter between themselves on who they think will score the most goals and also which keeper will make the most saves.....(Jenny and the Bets).

Yep, I’ve always loved Welbz, even before he joined the Albion. My mates used to take the piss out of me for how much I loved him as a player before he came to us so I couldn’t believe it when he did actually join. He is the most under-rated English footballer ever, he has so much quality, an oustanding pro and decent bloke.

A striker isn’t all about goals - I’d say he’s a decent premier league striker.
Smily, happy players always endear. They’re in a very lucky profession, it’s great to see players embrace that.
No idea. And don’t get me wrong, like everyone else here, I too love Danny Welbeck, I just think that the “Welbeck is better than Salah” video is one of the funniest things and always worth bringing up in relation to Wele. It’s almost poetry.
