Good shout.

The night we beat Man U to stay up in our first PL season he obviously knew he was on his way out and was doing a tour of the Amex bars after the game. My son got a selfie with him and I had an absolutely crackers conversation where neither of us understood a word the other said.
Worth also noting, that when we signed Skalak in January 2016, he had won the award for the ‘Player of the (first half of the) Season, in the Czech league and was officially crowned THE WINTER KING.

Daring to Zlatan
Robbie Savage ? Arrived in a very lairy car to quite a fanfare and a bit of interest from the media, only to "play" about 4 games during which he was universally crap.

Sticking with Vicente.

This was a lad who was at one time the highest value midfielder in the world, with 38 Spain caps, and considered one of the best left wingers in La Liga history.

He rocked up to play second tier football, attempting to link up with Craig Mackail Smith (bless him), Adam El-Abd and Will Hoskins.

In terms of relative levels, he was the best Albion player in a team I’ve ever seen. And EXTREMELY flair.

It was insane at the time that he agreed to play for us, and remains so to this day.

I'll second TAU and AGUSTIEN.

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Mauricio Tarricco - again because every time he played it just felt so INFORMAL - Gus asking if he fancied a game that day, Tarricco seeing it would be a spicy one (Southampton away) and saying go on then.
Seconded. He received two reds as well, one for calling the ref an effing cheat at St Mary's.

Gonzalo Jara Reyes

Pretty sure he was caught driving whilst serving a driving ban during his time with us, and subsequently banned for longer.

UPDATE here it is;
He appeared before Brighton magistrates in January 2012 for driving his car in the city while already banned for drink driving.

He admitted driving an Audi Q7 sports car in Richmond Terrace, Brighton, while disqualified and driving without insurance and collected a £3,500 fine, having been banned for 17 months the previous July.

The Brighton bench handed him a further 12 month ban and ordered him to pay £100 costs.

Having joined Gus Poyet’s Brighton on loan in October 2011, he had only played four matches before missing that memorable December 2011 1-0 defeat against Burnley – when Ashley Barnes and Romain Vincelot were sent off in the first 12 minutes of the game.

It transpired he had been arrested by Sussex Police on the morning of the match, and was still in custody when the game kicked off.
That last bit is brilliant - didn't know he was left out due to being UNDER ARREST at the time.

And then these bits of FUN while playing for Chile;
In 2013, during a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier he provoked Uruguayan Luis Suárez by holding and pinching him around the waist with one hand and grabbing his crotch with the other. Suárez subsequently punched Jara, but both parties went unpunished.
In the 2015 Copa América quarter-finals match against Uruguay he provoked Uruguayan Edinson Cavani into a second yellow card and expulsion by slapping Cavani and, according to replays, appeared to insert his finger into Cavani's anus. Jara then faked a fall to the ground. The incident received almost immediate and prominent international coverage from newspapers and the internet, mostly condemning Jara.

Mainz criticised Jara for the incident and stated that he would be sold.

Nzuzi Toko, genuinely could have been sent 4 times in the only 20 minutes I ever witnessed him play a competitive game for us.
I saw him in what I think was his only competitive appearance (already 3-0 up against Burton in the League Cup) and I don't remember this aspect. I do however feel like I'm in a special group of about 5-600 Albion fans that actually saw the man play though.

Not just 'caught driving whilst banned' either.

It was 'caught driving whilst banned, on his way to the Amex for a match, and subsequently missing the game', wasn't it?
