As a long time eastbourne resident within 10 mins walk of the ground that's a very accurate assessment.
Eastbourne is a fickle town. I've lived here for 30 years and love the place, but I wouldn't invest a penny in any business which relied on the locals to fund it unless it was selling tat for tuppence (which always does very well here..)

Isn't it supposed to be based on information up to a certain date (based on that line up, some time around September 2020-ish)?

You could start a business constructing park benches though, with those little silver shields starting with the wolrds "in memory of".

Bound to do well l would think.

They want to train during the day from next season, which means one of the lads who works for me, Greg Luer, will be looking for another club.
His Dad Rolf is an old team mate of mine!

Anyone else off to watch Boro today? - A big game and a big crowd expected for what is probably last chance saloon for them at home to Taunton in their fight for survival.

More broadly, what a disaster this decision (and a number of the other big decisions the new owner made last summer) have proven.

They now look to be joining Lewes and Hastings in the Isthmian League next season, when last summer the new owner Simon Leslie was talking about how they needed to start thinking like a league 2 club…

Gremlins in the system there, ghosts in the machine. Perhaps a metaphor, for err... Good evening!

Big 2-0 win for Boro. With other results going there way too they may just get away with it… for this season at least!

Here is an interesting interview with the CEO Alan Williams (who was previously involved with Crawley).
