Fulham could do us a favour. Don't like Villa, but we can't catch them, so if they could turn over West Ham (who we can catch), that'd do nicely.

I’ve just done a like for like comparison to last season after 28 games. It goes like this :

2023/24 P28 W11 D9 L8 GD6 Pts 42

2022/23 P28 W13 D7 L8 GD16 Pts 46

So for all those naysayers not a huge difference despite the fact that we’ve had a significant number of injuries, more than last season. We’ve also played 8 more games (Europa League) and all the matches have taken place in a shorter time frame. Our 28th league fixture for 2022/23 (Spurs away) took place on the 8th of April. Food for thought.

Two of those awful needless draws being wins and we'd be like-for-like. Think we've got a harder run in this time though.

The same applied last season too - Nottingham Forest and Brentford draws and Fulham defeat all at home after we completely dominated. Let’s not forget the 5-1 loss to Everton either. It’s football - anything happens and does. There’s no denying that our run in this season is tough but I feel we play better against the so called top sides. Another couple of months and we’ll know.

Regulion sent off for Brentford. Think he was the last defender and stopped a goal scoring chance. How many games suspension is that?

Brentford go two points above the drop zone if they lose this one and Luton win

God knows whether Forest and Everton will actually get points deductions this season.
