How are we getting home?

It's just dawned on me....

KO 8pm, normal finish about 9.55pm.

Extra time until 22.30.....

Penalties finish 22.50pm.

I'm taking my 9 year old daughter who has school tomorrow and I have a 5am alarm set for 6am start at work......

Personally I'm just hoping for a win at 90 as I just can't see a good Italian team shipping 4 goals.

If we miraculously manage it I've got some serious conscience calls to make🫣

If we win tonight there is no point anyone who is at the Amex going to work tomorrow. The chances of any work getting done will be lower than the chances of us winning.

In fact there won't be much point in going home. Our families and friends will be fed up hearing us rattle on and on about the greatest night in sport, ever, anywhere!

Here's hoping......

No need unfortunately.

She was buzzing for the first half and cheering us on throughout.

Half time killed her buzz. The fact we sit in SWC and the second half everything was happening at the other end and a bit far away she was falling asleep against me at 70 minutes.

Bad fan but we left on 83 minutes. I would have stayed if I was on my own but priorities and all that.

Got back home at 22.40 and she's already fast a kip. I'm having one last solemn drink before I hit the sack too.

Football eh?

Gutted we're out. Stupid life and responsibilities getting in the way of my 4th love in life (wife, daughter 1 and daughter 2 getting in the way).

Life goes on and I look forward until we get to do it all again.
