Find it interesting that Marseille are already the only team from which that are left standing.

Were we a bit over the top about how tough our group draw was? And did this tie against Roma give us an insight into the gulf in class that currently exists?

We are a better side than Roma, last week we just f***ed it, its football it happens.
I’m not sure about that, I mean they rested their three best players tonight, and most of their team would get in ours. That said, I am very proud of the team tonight against what was still a very strong and in-form Roma side.

I know mate but we was missing key players in both legs.

We needed that win, even though it didn't get us to the next stage, in the same way that we needed that win against Forest. We've gone from 3 losses on the bounce, to two wins - just what the doctor ordered.
The team should feel proud of themselves, tonight - they gave their all against a difficult opponent and a mountain to climb.
I really hope RDZ and the players realise how well they've done.

Well ... I'm glad you guys won the return leg. Not so glad you won against us on the 6th round of the group stages... but at that moment you were better than us, without any possible saying.

Some of you people get it, some of you just scrap by. European matches are different from League ones. To put it mildly, experience gets you a really long way in CL/EL, especially in knockout stages. No wonder you'll see the same old teams performing again and again. Those teams (and their fans) just prepare it, on every possible level.

And on the other hand, playing in Europe takes a toll, which costs points in national leagues. So qualifying several years in a row is difficult (unless you have a cheat code like Paris). Nevertheless, you were a really good team, pretty dangerous (and I have to admit it a tad naive) and you fan guys were really refreshing. I hope we will meet again.

Good luck for the end of the season, and see you soon (hopefully).
