That's not true. He was just in the penalty box and all he had to do was leather the ball towards the goal as hard as possible. But instead he just paused, clueless as to what to do, and the Roma player came and took it off him and that was the attack over.

We've had enough good chances to have scored more than 4 goals. Playing decent enough and tactics about right imo.
Conceding would mean game over so requires some caution.
Just the finishing letting us down.

We blew this tie 7 days ago, sadly. If we’d come away from Rome 0-2, then who knows?

But playing that game like it was a one-off ‘winner takes all’ tie has cost us. A bit more pragmatism and I reckon we’d have had decent enough chance over two legs.

We even try and take second touches from keeper rebounds. Roma don't even have to change their shape. They just sit in and wait for us to overplay and lose it. We are so so easy to play against.
