Yeah he’s 9 it’s actually mrs gulls nephew but call him my nephew, I was worried in taking him as he does have severe adhd (I know but I will give him this one he does have it ) so was worried how long he would last only stoped watching to get a burger before the half time ques, no talking just sat there transfixed by the game , will get him a membership next season, so that’s me the mrs our daughter and now nephew going to games next season, and with the shirt couldn’t wait to show it off, even said while waiting for the bus back to esc when he’s 18 he’s getting a Brighton tattoo

That’s great! But, be warned, I took my grandson to his first Albion game when he was six. His birthday is the beginning of August so his present year after year has always been the new team kit - it’s cost us a fortune. He is now well into his teens so the idea of dressing up as a FKW (I’m sure you’re aware of that term!) has long gone. Now it’s all about going on away trips, going into the North Stand, and a possible European trip. Oh, he’s also a fully paid up and loyal season ticket holder. Job done!

That's the ideal age I think. My son went from occasional visit to STH in the season when he was 8/9. My grandson was around 4/5 when he saw his first game at Withdean, where we lost to Crewe, and McNulty lost his kidney. It was a horrific game. Luckily, he enjoyed his ice cream.My 4 year old Grandson attended his 3rd Albion game on Sunday.
He loves going, but does get a bit bored. Wanted to know why there wasn’t more goals.
